I have been saying for a long time now that Steele is much better than Collins.

So many posters here just want to gift Collins the position no matter how bad he plays. ‘He played so well in 2019.’

Exactly. It's all about pedigree. Steele played incredible for us at RT and the running game actually worked.

Collins has not earned that position.

I really am surprised at how bad Dak can be with accuracy at times.

Dak got hit literally every drop back.
Hitting a guy on his back shoulder in that scenario is pretty good accuracy.

change one thing. trot his tail out there for every jumbo package you can come up with. see if you can work him back into shape.

Maxx Crosby is gonna be a problem, I hope they prepare better for him than they did for Chris Jones.

If only we had a coaching staff that game plans with our weaknesses in mind…

The entire offensive line graded out as 1 big steamy pile of dog poo. Multiple guys rushing free. Collins isn't agile enough to even be a RT, Biadiz wasn't good, McGovern wasn't good, Steel was still in his stance while Dak getting sacked, even martin chimed in and missed a block ok well he fell but still. I don't know if the blocking scheme was too complicated or what but they better figure it the heck out.

Today's Collins is a shadow of the Collins that played at a pro-bowl level 2-3 years ago. Great example of a guy who got his big contract and then went into tank.

Or a guy who’s missed most of the season getting back into playing
Collins should have replaced smith and CW should have been at guard
All these changes did much more harm than good
It’s easy to help Collins at LT if everyone else is not playing new positions too
Too much change at a position where familiarity is so important
We could have had just one guy playing himself back into the game and helped him but we decided to move Steele to a new position and change guards
Just too much change against a very good DC

DAK and this offense is only as good as the Offensive Line.....if the OL is good, DAK, Zeke and WRs are good....if not...hang on to your panties and see were it takes them....

That's the same for all teams. Look at what TB did to KC in the super bowl last season. Made mahomes run for his life and he was terrible. Look at what our pass rush did yesterday. Mahomes was not good yesterday outside of the first quarter. We started getting pressure and he didn't play well.

We are 1-3 with Collins at RT.

It’s not all La’el’s fault but he certainly contributed to it.

Easily the most disappointing player on the team.

Hasn't been the same since his return. He was good Week 1, but pretty mediocre since returning from suspension.

Like I said, if we roll with Collins at RT and Steele at LT vs LV, Dak and the offense won't have a chance.

so what else would you suggest ? .. bench Collins or Steele in favor of Ty Nyseke ..?

You can always protect 1 Tackle, but not two. Really need Tyron to return to the lineup. Collins is looking more and more likely to be gone after this season.

Think the writing is on the wall that Steele is our right tackle starter from here on out. Unless Collins kicks inside, there is no way they carry his salary as a backup. I wonder if he will be attractive on the trade market? Must put better tape this yr or he could even be a release candidate in the off-season.
