Oh, is that what we're doing here? The ol' eyeball test that differs from fan to fan depending on their biases? Well okay, I thought you had something. Thanks.

We're on the same team here man. Are you the Collins Fan Club President or what? They are both good players, but Leary is better and was in TC. Nothing wrong with having 2 good ones. What kind of stats are you looking for, who a can eat more hot dogs?? ;)

So, you don't?

Once again

Person #1 - Makes claim
Person #2 - Ask for source

The burden of proof falls directly on person 1. Person #3, being you, just butted in and doesn't change how burden of proof works.
You sound like an unhappy person my man.
You want proof?
Read your post above.
Good enough?

Are you on a Leary fan club? I'm asking a question, that was all. A question about a player who is most likely going to be finding a new home next year. So, if he's doing something fantastic, I would have liked something provided. Injuring a player really doesn't tell me much, there were GIFs left and right last year being thrown around of Collins knocking players off their feet, 5 yards back at times.

And I would like to know from who was saying Leary was better in camp? I certainly didn't see this in preseason, and there were plenty of people stating how unenthusiastic he looked and how it seemed he regressed.

I didn't know asking someone to provide some evidence when they make a definitive statement suddenly became a problem here. Especially with the "It doesn't matter" - We lost our starting guard, yeah, it matters.

Prove otherwise, coach.

Leary is better and should be RIGHT now. Collins will be better overall. This is what Collins 2nd year, Leary is in his 5th.

No it was stated as his opinion. Not as a fact. The default is that we are all stating our opinions here unless someone goes out of their way to say it's a fact.

You are a joy immediately after a win...what are you like after a loss.

Where in his post did it seem like it was "just his opinion"? When someone says "Player #1 is better than player #2, doesn't matter!" - That's a definitive statement.

Once again, this isn't someone discussing Leary's personalty. "Leary seems like a really cool guy, I would like to have a beer with him" - I'm not asking for evidence that he likes puppies and kitties and gives money to charity often. I'm asking about football statistics since he made a definitive statement on a player. That was all, I'm actually wondering why YOU have such an issue with this.

You know a good way to kill discussion on this board? Telling everyone "It's just his opinion, man!". Yeah, you could say that about every single damn post made here! I guess communication and debate complete ends and this forum shuts down due to no activity or traffic.

Collins has only 1 more year after this one as well. Both are good, but Leary is mean. This has nothing to do with getting knocked back either. I just never thought Leary should have lost his job. It's a good problem to have. Now if you want to get into a debate lets talk about Green! Blahhhh

Well, thanks for the answer. Not much here to discuss.

Not for nothing but... when I think of Leary, I think of the time he blocked three defenders at once on a td play
up in Seattle in 2014. That dude is a mauler. Maybe he deserves a fan club... lol

The book on Collins at this point is that he has great plays and not so great plays... inconsistent... but improving.
There aren't many stats for a Guard. So the eyeball test is a fair assessment. They're both good. Everyone is allowed a
personal preference. No need to hate.

This should silence all the fuss about trading Leary for awhile. Backups really can be useful can't they . . . :D

For a team that seems to struggle with any kind of depth, when we get it, people want to trade it away. You hold on for dear life until they're no longer under contract, IMO.
