As long as Nobody else is doing that to T-New I'll be happy. And as long as Owens does that to the opponents as well I'll be happy. Owens lead the league in TD's and Newman has given up one (1) TD in the last two (2) seasons. Let 'em make each other even better.
who caught the td?

I dont mind T-New getting used by TO in practice, maybe it will keep T-New from getting complacent, and make him continue to work hard.

I hear yah...I figure (hope) Owens improves Newman, maybe even vice-versa in some areas.

I think it's actually 2. Reggie Wayne last year, and (gasp) Mike Williams in the Detroit game.

Are you excited that Ware intercepted a pass, or disheartened that Romo through a pick?

More like wondering why Ware's in coverage and not rushing the QB, they already tried putting their best pass rusher in coverage last year and it didn't work.

He did lead the league in TD's fwtw.
Yeah, I keep hearing that. But the kind of dominant impact I expected from him, I didn't see.

He had a solid year. Real solid year. But the kind of performances I expected, he was so-so.

Marc Colombo is quickly becoming one of my favorites. He has a mean streak to him, we need that enthusiasm out of all of our lineman.

Just for grins.....again.....

If you put TO in a one on one situation with any defensive back he wins most of the time.
Deangelo Hall
Champ Bailey
Those two guys were burned badly by TO in the last two years.
I laugh when I hear Jaws saying that TO has lost a step. GTFOH!!!!!!!!!!!
The so called fastest man in the NFL was smoked last year...Deangelo Hall.
Anybody who saw that 70 yrd run by Julius will rememeber how TO just basically ran down that play to try and get a block. It was crazy fast.

my thoughts exactly, T.O. can abuse any DB one on one as he has proved. Champ "shutdown" Bailey (the best shutdown DB in the league) was absolutely abused by T.O. and Deangelo Hall (the fastest DB in the NFL) was left eating T.O.'s dust.

as for the rest of the story, Ware is my 2nd favorite Cowboy on the entire roster. I absolutelylove watching the guy play, he can do it all and this INT sounds just like the one he had against Mike Vick and the Falcons last year for the TD.

I will never forget that. I couldn't believe my eyes! It's not like Julius was jogging, either. He was running flat out and TO caught him like...like the Flash or something.

I think TO's hand limited some of his effectiveness and physical way that he releases off the line. If you watch the first game, he absolutely abuse Rashean Mathis and threw him around. TO is one guy that you do not want to play press coverage on, he will get his release every time and have the speed to accelerate out of it and be very open in NFL terms

that was the main problem last year, T.O. when healthy can bully any DB (Champ Bailey being the best example), Champ tried to jam him at the line time after time and just got run over or side steped and beat for speed - he will be great this year.

One of the reasons we took Spencer I think. Ellis is a big question mark. Ware is too good an athlete to only rush him I think Spencer/Ellis always will be rushing, and Ware will move around and cause some confusion.

Columbo is the RT. Canty is the RDE.

How did they get mixed up? Or are we trying Canty some at LDE?

Or maybe we just forgot how good T.O. really can be. Last year was kind of a wash to me.

I agree.

I wasn't in favor of the Cowboys signing TO, but trying to look at it objectively ...

1. He was coming to a new team with a new system
2. He hurt his hammy causing him to miss valueable practice time.
3. He broke his finger causing him to drop balls
4. He had to switch quarterbacks in the middle of the season - you know how much that impacts chemistry and being in sync.
5. He was disappointed because he wasn't more a focal point of the offense.

I think this year will be even a better year for him.
