It's frustrating with this FO, things something has to fail before they either find or luck up on success.
Hard to believe your best OL coach was ALREADY on staff before hiring Alexander.

This hasn't been the best season for the offensive line of the Dallas Cowboys, but a large part of it was due to a grievous error made by the coaching staff. That came by way of opting to move on from the successful Frank Pollack and installing Paul Alexander as offensive line coach, a guy who brought with him glaring scheme issues and saw his rushing attack finish 31st in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017. At the time, the Cowboys waved off a chance to promote assistant line coach Marc Colombo, but they rectified the error by ousting Alexander during the bye week and putting Colombo in his seat -- re-hiring Super Bowl-winning OL coach Hudson Houck to advise him in his new role
