injury concern for him seems to continue today, didn't practice and was noticeably limping.

I had heard that there was a good chance he would not play in this game. Just a radio report I heard a yesterday

ouch. this could be a big one. we'll at least we have a comfortable lead in the division and we get to see what this rave about mcquistan is about.

Time for the big red head to show us what he can do.

Yep, McQ playing this weekend probably wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Detroit doesn't have a great pass rush, and Colombo would have a week off to rest his ankle (and his entire body) to get ready for the playoffs.

When did he get hurt?

Supposedly early in the Packers game.

Let's hope McQ lives up to his billing. But 7th round picks manning the RT spot makes me nervous.

Better than LT....Romo's blind side

I think McQ is up to the challenge. If need be, we give him a little help.

How do you feel about undrafted free agents as your franchise quarterback? ;)

Warm and fuzzy inside.

I want to see McQuistan play some anyway.

It would be a good look.

Well we did not draft him from his looks. :laugh2: I look forward to seeing him out there. I like what I saw seeing from him in pre-season and now he will get a chance to see some live reg season action.

McQ is a heck of a player. He'll do fine.

Earlier this year in a game, Colombo's shoe came off and he couldn't get it back on before the next play and McQ ran out there and took a snap. He stonewalled some guy on the play and the offense never missed a beat.

Now, I know that's different from playing a whole game... but I think Red will do just fine.

Personally, I think if Colombo hadn't been hurt most of training camp, forcing McQ to play in his place... that McQ would have competed against Kosier at LG like they wanted to do and that he would now be our starting LG.

That may indeed happen next year if Martin and Free play well enough at T.

$0.02

Give Colombo the day off. Its more important for him to be healthy for the playoffs then against the Lions who are pathetic at this point in the season.
