How do you guys feel about starting Mark over Doug? I think it is a mistake, and if we lose today, I'm going to say it's things like this that keep Wade winless in the POs. I just think that we should continue w/ what's been working and I don't understand the urge to rush Colombo back into the lineup. I think it would be much better to let him come in for some plays here and ther, if that's possible. What say you all...

I think I heard that Wade said that they are going to find a way to use them both at the same time for some plays?

I'm hoping this is a decision that we're flexible on, and will be willing to change our initial approach if evidence mounts that we made the wrong decision.

My gut tells me it's a bad move. I'd rather go with the right tackle who played remarkably well against this very team a week ago on the same field, than a player coming off a six-plus-week hiatus who, while better at the beginning of the season, might not be the better player today.

My other thought is this: Is Wade playing head games with Philly? Is he trying to get them to prepare for Colombo, only to start Free? I don't know that he would "use" the media like that, but it's a thought.

As much as I like what Wade has done recently, I do worry that he's not the best decision maker when it comes to things like this. Granted, since it concerns the offensive side of the ball, this might be more Garrett than him. We'll see.

i think its absurd to think Columbo is now a downgrade.......Columbo is the meanest , nastiest S.O.B. on our team ...we need that.....if he struggles there is no doubt to me he would be relieved......Free has been outstanding...but we talkin bout Columbo man.......

I agree with what you are saying. I think Wade wants him back in to put a fear factor there for the other team. Wade did say that free would play..I dont think he feels Columbo in conditioned enough to play the whole game after being off for so long. I guess it will depend on his stamina on how much he plays.

Columbo is the team's enforcer. We all love Free, but I think in this grudge match with so much importance, him being out there - as long as he is back to form - could actually be more motivation. Also, I think if Columbo was in last week during the first big late hit on Romo, that guy would have paid the price the following down.

lol your user name is rudy.

Flozell has declined, If they are looking as to where to play free put him at lt next year if they feel doing it this year would be bad for chemistry as flozell has probably practiced as starting LT all of training camp and the season.

No lol, it's funny that he thought your username was funny.

And it's funny how you responded. Completely deadpan.

Believe me, I have a much funnier name...it means king of snakes for goodness sakes.

Ha, thanks. It was tough growing up in the early 90s playing sports after that movie came out. Try shooting free throws with 30 people chanting your name - I'd never be able to handle those waving tubes the pros have to deal with.
