About the possibility of a new CBA...

On the one hand, no CBA means lots of fun watching the Skins struggle to put a competitive product on the field in 2006, while the Boys won't be hurting against the cap...

But on the other hand (cue Randy Travis here, LOL), if the rumors are correct, the Boys would have something close to thirty million dollars of cap room to play with this offseason... after watching the improvements they made personnel-wise last offseason with less cap room than that, I'd be excited to see what kind of talent they could add with such flexibility... basically, another offseason like last year's and I'd feel confident about the Boys' ability to play with ANYBODY...

I just can't figure out which scenario would be best for the Boys, and us fans... right now, I'm telling myself that it's a win-win situation...

As much as I do enjoy watching the 'Skins fans weasel and/or crawfish (not to mention squirm) about the salary cap and where the 'Skins stand I just can't bring myself to hope that the deal doesn't get done. We have to play other teams besides the 'Skins and we need to get the cap money to compete with the other teams that have not overspent so stupidly and are in a more competitive cap situation.

I want the skins to realy hurt. this ne agreement will let them off that hook. This new agreement sucks. We would be fine either way. Damn skins. I hate them.

Dallas will do fine either way; sucking for so long has earned us the right.

In a win-win situation, I rather "win" than watch the Commanders self-destruct. I prefer both.

As usual Bear, we agree on this stuff. I can't decide what I want.

I agree with you that it's really a win-win situation for Dallas. I think for Dallas fans they just think about how badly the team was screwed when the original cap was put in and want to see the Skins get punished as well.
