ESPN is now reporting that Colston will be out for the season, not just 4-6 weeks. Seems a bit odd for a guy with a thumb injury.

The less threats in the NFC, the better.

Pretty sure the ESPN guy simply flubbed his words. Colston isn't done for the season. He even said 4-6 weeks 10 seconds before he uttered "season".

If he gets put on IR, I will believe it. Until then, I'm unconvinced.

is anyone disturbed by how many injuries are being suffered?

or am I just making stuff up?

I dont' recall so many people getting dinged up

I'm thinking that this happens every year. I remember in past years this same question was brought up. But the number of big name players and a couple being superstars may be a first for this particular season though.

And they want to make it a 18 game regular season. How many more injuries will there be with 2 extra games a year?

I love the idea of getting rid of two preseason games, but I'm indifferent about the 18 game reg season...but the owners will want it as a trade revenue-wise.
