Colts are a good team with better head coach

I say this because Dallas did lose to a good team Sunday, the only problem I have with the loss,
is how poorly Dallas played, the blocked FG, Elliot still jumping over players like a moron, and jg letting him
do it.
Also Conner williams as RG ????? I saw him not knowing what to do on some plays , and on one
just got knocked on his back by rusher. Just IMO he should not be on the field this year.

The fact dallas couldnt even get a fg is also bad.
I thought they should have gone for fg's early on instead of gambling.
I say that because sometimes a team just needs that first score from mental standpoint.
Also if you gamble and dont get the 1st, it demoralizes the offense and defense.

But now back to INDY they started 1-5 and have only lost once since then.
I was surprised they ran the ball as much as they did, and they did it well.
Luck is back to his old form but smarter and not turning it over.
He also ran 3 times to keep drives alive.
Dak ran..........0 times lol that is pathetic.

Indy was at home, but they played like the game mattered , Dallas just showed up lol.
It will now be interesting to see what colts do rest of the way , I think they know they have to
win out for a chance to get in playoffs.

Dallas played like they could afford to lose, and so they did.

And Indy has a better HC and staff, I think they saw a weakness, in our FG unit, and that maher
kicks the ball low on long kicks, and got a block early which was a killer.

Our coaches had LB covering ty hilton lol, I thought during the game maybe they should go
with more DB's and I dont know what happened with indy running so well.

So I give IND Colts credit, they had good game plan, and played with emotion, and desire,
and just tore dallas up.
I hope they get in the playoffs now.

But Dallas wasnt only one , Seattle was beat by 49's lol , and Rams got blasted by PHIL and ol
nicky foles lol. be funny if they won out with foles, but even so, I dont know if they can make playoffs.

We still lead the division and beat the defending world champs twice * who just beat the Rams at home) along with a win against the Saints (10 game winning streak at that time) AT HOME, get it? Better coach? Based on what? A team that probably wont make the playpffs?....

Colts have tried to establish the run. They struggled early this season when Mack missed almost all but a handful of snaps in their first 5 weeks, so not coincidental that their season got back on track when he got healthy. He was dinged up the past couple weeks, but was healthy coming into this week. He's not elite and he's not a dual threat RB, but he has been effective for them when healthy. It looks like our defense focused only on Luck and overlooked Mack entirely, they made us pay for it. The gameplan should always be to stop the run early and make them one dimensional, no team wants to be intentionally one dimensional even when they have Luck at QB.

The Colts have a young defense and have been quietly improving throughout the season. Our offense has always been predictable, it was magnified when their DC was one of our former coaches. Our RZ offense continues to struggle, Dak is partly to blame, but not the entire problem. Our OL is very banged up and we have backups all along the line, ability and execution is affected, making it more difficult to run. We're also missing that big, physical TE/WR to rely on in the EZ. Execution and scheme is stalling too many drives.

The Colts came in much more motivated and prepared across the board, they stuck to their gameplan and executed it very well. This was a team loss across the board, coaches, players on both sides of the ball. Too many penalties again, extending their drives and killing ours, it caught up to us and we couldn't overcome them this time.

I don't think they're a better team. Eagles beat them before they were hit with all their injuries. 1 thing to point out the head coach of Indianapolis was the offensive coordinator of the Eagles last year, and he knows a little about our strengths, and weaknesses. Look at the Eagles offense without him they are not the same. That being said I believe we are a more talented team, and quite frankly don't understand the loss at all. We really showed a lack of heart yesterday, and it's disappointing.

A former coach outplayed the current, get his old butt out of here Jerry!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure the colts knew exactly what we were going to do, SL has no concept of change.

I think a lot of fans, players and media overlooked the Colts and I seriously have no clue as to why. That was a highly motivated, well coached team and the whoopin received was well deserved.

They are an intriguing team come the playoffs. Not that I expect them to make a run given they'd have to go on the road and play KC or the Pats.

But they have a defense that is starting to show real signs of being really good (fast, athletic, etc.) and they have a QB that is probably on the fringes of being elite if he can stay healthy. That's a powerful combination.

And a better QB. Hell I believe their back up is better than our starter, definitely he has a higher ceiling.

I don't get the Brissett love.

He strikes me as a big time middling QB, like Dak. He failed a big Sydla QB test......... he was a sub 60% passer in college and his last two years at NCSU.

He smells like Connor Cook to me.

They've turned things around quickly from the Grigson debacle. Chris Ballard has really done a great job there. And if I remember correctly, they're in awesome cap shape as well. Ballard has rebuilt his team with youth rather than big-money free agents or trades.

The colts are as young as we are and had arguably the best 2018 draft of any team. Their draft picks from this year were making plays all over the field Sunday. I think the colts may be the hottest team in the league right now next to the chargers.

Brissett have way more tangibles then Dak, he has elite arm strength, equally as mobile, and much more accurate especially on intermediate and deep balls. He may never be elite, but I think he would fit better with the offense we have with the weapons we have.

Every team we play in the playoffs will have a better QB. There is no denying that. The Colts have a real QB you can build around. Lucky them.
