Colts are cleaning house. Released Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai...

Was surprised at Clark then saw that he would be 33 this coming season. Looking at his career stats he only really had two big seasons; usually averaging less then 40 catches a year. Witten blows away his stats at almost 2 to 1 in everything except ypc and TDs.

If I were the Dolphins I would sign Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne ASAP to try to get Peyton. Brandon Marhsall, Reggie Wayne and Davonne Bess at WR. Clark and Fasano at TE. Bush catching passes out of the backfield. Jake Long protecting your blind side. That would be pretty enticing, especially if they let have carte blanche to run your old Colts offense.

Is Melvin Bullitt a valid option? Other than he replaced Sanders, and missed most of the season due to a broken shoulder, I know nothing about him.

Joseph Addai was always a little overrated to me. He's been injury prone the past two or three seasons. He's only 28, and could make a solid backup or pair up in someones backfield.

Reggie Wayne is waiting to see where Peyton signs, and then going to campaign himself for that same team.

I was talking to my friend the Colts fan earlier in the day yesterday. I noticed in an espn article about possible Freeney trade speculation guys like Brackett and Clark could be potential cuts for salary cap reasons. He thought there was no way the Colts cut everyone, I didn't either. We were wrong.

Wow. I know they said rebuilding but really didn't see a near complete demolish coming.

Makes sense IMO.

The Colts are entering into a new era where I think they know they won't be competing for Super Bowl or even playoffs immediately.

You may as well rid yourself of high-priced vets who don't have a longterm future with the team. As far as offensively, it's better to bring in young players together and let them build a repoire with one another.

Is it possible that the team Luck is going to is even worse than the team Aikman went to?

It has been a long time and I don't remember much (thankfully) about that Cowboys' team Aikman inherited.

Which team do you think is worse, the 1989 Cowboys or the 2012 Colts?

I think it is a pretty safe bet that the Colts will be drafting first again in the 2013 draft.:)

'89 Cowboys were just awful. There was only a handful of games we were competitive.

I agree. The only thing I'd image they will be competing for is the top pick in the draft.

I haven't checked, but I hear Irsay's getting some heavy fan hate on twitter and Facebook.
