Anyone think that's in part of coaching?

I do.

They've had a case of the dropsies this season...

No. If you have to teach a bunch of guys in their 20's how to catch a football then your problem may be your GM.

To an extent. With that said, the biggest drop was on that punt, and I don't think I'd knock the coaches for that drop as much as I'll knock the player that dropped the pass. That should have been a gimmie for any pro under 260 lbs.

That was the first time this season I have seen them play. It was a big help for us that's for sure.

It's just focus. With their division clinched, they were probably playing more to not get hurt than to play their 'A' game vs the Cowboys. They've had issues with drops this season, but they also have a really good qb that probably throws more often than most teams. Their coaching is good, they just had a bad game. We've had those too, where nothing goes right (Philly game 1, San Fran)

It isn't that simple.....Reggie Wayne?

Game was fixed.....from the start. Cowboys have been catching "unreal" breaks all season long.;)

Then why play them?

Division clinched and all .

Pagano went there to win otherwise start the second string....,.. after three quarters.

I'm sure the coaches didn't tell them to take it easy. They game planned to win which is why Luck played. But the players themselves probably weren't as mentally focused and they would usually be.

They were without Hilton and Reggie Wayne may be done after this year.

On a separate note, do the Colts remind anybody else of previous years Cowboys? You have a mistake prone quarterback who is essentially asked to carry his team behind a bad offensive line, poor running game, and a defense that likes to fold against good teams. He also a ridiculous number of fourth quarter comebacks. Luck is basically an early years Romo with better pedigree.

In speaking with my brother a few weeks ago, a huge Colts fan, I made those exact points. I told him that Luck this year reminds me of Romo, 2007.

After Sunday's game, the stats are even more similar.

Luck -
2014
IND
4,601
38
16
95.4

Romo -
2007
DAL
4,211
36
19
97.4
