Sure he looks really lost out there at times during the season, and surprisingly even when he was healthy it seemed like the coaches were reluctant to play him. At times I thought this might be a Bobby Carpenter all over again.

But it can't be denied that this guy has some skills and gives our team a dynamic it doesn't currently have with brooking-james.

At of all the players on defense he is one of the biggest keys for us turning towards the next page.

1. Sean Lee
2. Anthony Spencer
3. Mike Jenkins

Yea and Bobby C was missed very much after he was gone, esp. in the passing D...

The thing though is even with Bobby Carpenter we had one of the worst nickel defenses... Its hard to believe it got worse.

Hard to judge a rookie..I'm sort of meh on him. They all seemed lost on defense for most of the year.

The worst? I don't remember that. You might be exaggerating. We were more middle of the pack. Plus we were stingy on points in 09. Our nickel defense was undoubtedly better with Barbie than it was with Brooking this last year.

If he can stay healthy, witch odd's are he can with a superbowl winning trainer, i beleive Sean Lee will be a beast/playmaker for the defense.

too bad he really couldnt work with him because of the lockout....the offseason is when you can get alot of lifting in and come into camp big and ready...no homo

You take away those two interceptions and that still is Lee's best game. He was very active in the run game and showed great anticipation. One play that stuck out in my mind was when he blew up that screen pass.

I'm sorry, I thought drafting Sean Lee in the 2nd round was a slap in the face.

People misunderstand my view on Sean Lee...

Pros
I think he will be an excellent linebacker
I think he will become a huge upgrade over the current Keith Brooking
I think he is REALLY smart

Cons
I think he will/might have problems staying healthy
I think he looked absolutely lost at times this year, which made my mad because of all things I respect him because of his game intellect, and studying habits, and alleged instincts.
I DON'T think we should have drafted him
I think we might have reached on him
We definitely could have spent that 2nd round draft pick on our offensive line

There shouldn't be any confusion.

While I think he will be really good, I don't know how long it will take him to reach that point, nor do I think he fit in with what we were trying to do in 2010-2011.

I feel as though another player certainly could have helped Romo last year.

Every addition to the team should be seen in the respect of:

How is this player going to help Tony Romo.

If the player is on defense, is that player going to improve our defense? Is that defensive player going to start? If not are they going to spell a starter? If not what are they doing on this team?

At the time he was considered a steal considering many had him with a first round grade.
