Colts | Harrison released
Mon, 23 Feb 2009 15:14:36 -0800
The NFL Network reports the Indianapolis Colts have released WR Marvin Harrison, agent Tom Condon confirmed to The Associated Press.

He will be in an Eagles Uniform next year.
He would be going back home to Philly and catching from a former Teammate from Syracuse.

I'm actually glad he's going to Philly, he's on the decline and that would eliminate Boldin/Housh in Philly.

On the decline? He's only 37. Let's bring him in here and give him a huge signing bonus.

Heck, TO's only 1 year younger. Let's re-do TO's contract also and up his signing bonus.

37 is the prime of a WR's career.

My guess is he's done. One of the best ever though.

Time to hang up the old jockstrap Marvin, what a great career he's had though.

I think he'd fit into Philly's system really well. It'd make sense. He's not the player he used to be, but he can still run a heck of a route. Better than most of the garbage McNabb has to throw to, and could mentor some of the younger WRs.

He's a consummate professional, even with the gun charges and hooplah this year - I've always considered him as a class guy. He and Peyton had incredible chemistry and its going to be weird seeing him in another uniform next year.

However, I think this Terry Glenn 2.0. There aren't many games left on that knee, and at the end of the day his cap figure was way too high. I expect Owens to start showing signs of fading at around the same age.

That's what I was hoping...We'll see. :D

I think Philly passes on him. I could see the Titans or Chargers signing him though...and never rule out the Patriots. He could line up with Moss and Welker to make their offense unstoppable again.
