Colts/Packers game thread

I think Finley is going to be a beast. Too bad he got injured in the begining of last year.

Does Woodson play DB or LB?

The Packers are sending him on the blitz practically every play. Kinda crazy.

Clearly, it's time for them to draft his successor, even if they just paid him a boatload of money.

I wouldn't go that far just yet. If he comes back okay from this neck surgery (neck surgery is never a good thing) I'd say he has at least 4-5 more good years.

Oh no the sky is falling for Green Bay...they had a coverage bust...season over for them.

They should put Peyton on IR, tank the season and draft Andrew Luck. Luck would sit behind Manning for 2 years and then take over. Problem solved. ;)

It still blows my mind that the Colts continue to be mention among the NFL's elite teams. You could see this team's decline 2 years ago. Hell, we even beat them last year, and you know we are one of the worst team in football that is rebuilding.

The Colts made some good additions to their defense this off-season. Tommie Harris is tearing it up out there.

Man that elite Packers secondary just got handled.

Edit: by Curtis Painter.

Painter is looking pretty good right now to me. Once he started finding Reggie Wayne he seemed to get comfortable and he has made a few nice throws in a row now.

I loved Peytons smile there. He seemed so proud of Painter

If I didn't know better I would swear Mike Leach is coaching the GB offense. They are unstoppable! The only way to stop them is to get to Rogers.

True, but I feel for Painter. Backing up Manning has to be one the worst jobs in the world, when you actually have to play in his place.

Also the best person to learn from. What more could you ask for?

Meh, just rush towards Chad Clifton and you get a free shot at Rodgers. I think Clifton has been exposed in the 1st half. Freeney is having a field day with him.

They run a lot of 4 WRs... and add Finley it's basically 5 WR. It pretty simple -- sack Rogers or have the Packers pass their way down the field.

Packers OL doesn't look so hot tonight. I know Clifton went to the Pro-Bowl last year but it's not hard to see why the Packers drafted Sherrod in the 1st round to replace him (maybe sooner than expected).

Nobody else has a comment on Curtis Painter shredding the GB secondary on that drive?

I agree, but GB's defense is doing some odd things tonight, so I'm not sure if is a reflection of Painter getting it, or if it just Green Bay's defense trying some odd things. Rushing Woodson over and over again. Geez, I don't know what they're doing.

How often does that happen though?

I'd love to be Peyton's backup, dude's never gonna miss a start. As Sorgi, he was living the life for a while there.
