Colts release kicker Blankenship released?

Looks like the Colts not the Clots are releasing their kicker Blankenship. This guy was pretty good playing for the Georgia Bulldogs. Should Dallas grab him for the practice squad or as a backup or can Dallas take on released players at this time. I'm only interested as I used to follow this guy as me being Bulldogs fan.
Thanks for letting me know. He's a kicker on my fantasy team.

NP But that hip probably tweaks a bit on him. He could do with a follow up MRI to see if all is healed. If an MRI reveals no injury, I bet he will gain confidence and be a better kicker.

I remember that guy from his Bulldog days and yes he was good... of course looks like we had a very good one with Garibay who went kaput.....so college and pro is a big difference, even for a kicker. BTW, kicker is the least of the Cowboys' problems right now. So I am just indifferent at this time; more polite way of saying who the freak cares....
