despite being injury prone, he's hands down way better than Alan Ball

That's putting it lightly...

michaelombardi Michael Lombardi

Not surprised Colts cut Bob Sanders, since 2007 he has only played in nine games--durability is a huge concern

FINALLY they get it. Spending all that money on a player that cannot stay on the field for a whole season is just plain stupid.

Well if Sanders is better than Ball while he's sitting on his couch or a hospital bed then maybe Ball should be replaced huh? Cause our D should definetely not be on the field with 10 players.

No to Sanders. :bang2:

it's a shame he has had so many injuries. when healthy that guy was nothing less than special.

Nobody is going to give this guy big bucks..i would take a shot on him with a cost friendly deal

I would give him a cheap, incentive based contract. Dude is the best safety in football when healthy. And yes, I know he is never healthy but I don't really think he can get that dinged up playing 30 yards down field like Ball does.

At least you recognize what he does and how good he can be.

He's not the best when healthy, but he's in the top five.

He's amazing when he can be on the field.

I'm with someone else above - Michael Huff is our best and most cost effective option. Honestly, I have stated before that I will be shocked if he's not in camp this summer.

I think Bob Sanders is a great player but in 7 seasons he has never made it through an entire season. I would look else where in getting a safety if it were my call.

When healthy he has won 2 Defensive players of the year and should've been the MVP of the Super Bowl he won

Give him a "Ken Hamlin" one-year deal and let him prove himself to see if he can stay healthy. Everyone in the NFL knows that Dallas has the worst safety combo in the entire league, so he would probably want to come here.

Could be wrong, but I don't think he won 2. I think just one.

But absolutely he deserved to be the SB MVP. A pick and 2 forced forced fumble deserves it over a 247 1 td 1 int game.
