Colts request interview with Quinn for HC

Let Russ cook, is more like Russ is cooked. He just doesn’t have it anymore and is a cancer according to the Hawks organization and sports writers. They are stuck like Chuck with that salary and picks they gave away for him. I don’t see how DQ turns it around?

I'd much rather work with that Broncos situation than the Colts and that owner. Broncos have a good history and I think Quinn will be a good voice for Wilson.

It sucks we're going to lose Quinn. It's obvious to everyone he is very well-liked in our locker room. Whoever replaces him will have big shoes to fill.

Still I thought the NFL was going to do something about teams trying to interview playoff coaches. They need to wait. It's not like there's a huge stable of coaches to choose from this year.

too many of the organizations that want him and moore do not have their long-term answer at QB, you want to be a guy that follows the new guy at those organizations like Pederson did in Jax.

49ers assistant GM is turning down GM interviews b/c he wants to focus on the team. Quinn should do the same. Having an interview lined up w/ a team on an already short week of prep is a little weird.

They are suppose to have guys in place who can run things while he's not around. Between George Edwards and Joe Whitt Jr.

And what does the Assistant GM need to focus on? He can't trade for anyone or draft anyone right now lol...

Dan Quinn lost a SB after being up 27 points....I feel like he wants to redeem himself. He doesn't want his legacy to start and end with what happened in that SB. I just feel you have to pick the best job possible. That Bronco's team looks enticing. Colts to me have a huge issue in talent and for some reason has been getting the offseason hype every year. They should get Shaq Leonard back so that should help.

I am firmly of the opinion that even requesting to interview a coach who is still coaching from the playoffs is tantamount to tampering and shouldn't be allowed. Just have a hard rule. If a team is still in the playoffs, none of their staff can interview until the day after they've won it all or the day after they're eliminated.

I don't think any of us are mad if he goes. Some of us are annoyed that teams are allowed to tamper and distract during the playoffs though.

Then change the rule that no coaches can be interviewed or hired till after the SB so it makes everyone wait.

Imo Colts is a much better opportunity. Already have some talented pieces in place and a high pick to acquire their franchise QB. Denver is a mess with no picks and an over the hill QB.

I'm like 95% sure he's getting that Denver job. Wilson has apparently been saying good things about him behind the scenes. That's going to be a good job for him. I think Wilson just needs a little wake up call and the defense is already set.

Sure. He is a grown man and is free to commit career suicide wherever he likes. As a HC anyway.

Guess he figures to go for the money grab, then settle on as DC elsewhere after he is fired in two years. There’s absolutely no way he can win there.

I’m sure Wilson has great things to say, but that franchise is dead for at least five to seven years because of Wilson.
