This makes me think the Jones at least inquired about Ramsey and this is Plan B.

Just because the Dolphins got Ramsey for a third doesn't mean we could have gotten him for a third. Would love to had traded for him, but the Rams wanted him out of the NFC, and Ramsey wanted back in Florida, so who know what we would have had to give up for him (if it was even a consideration for the Rams). Great in theory, but honestly its just an assumption.
