Combine thread

I think they will draft 2 dtackles and 2 running backs. They have 10 picks.
Bryan Broaddus was just talking about how many guys they expect to lose off this defense....We better use our picks wisely.....and that's just the defense.

D-Law
Gholston
Carl Lawson
Watkins
Linvil Joseph
OverShown.....won't be available
Kendricks
Lewis
Diggs....won't be available
Israel Mukuamu

They would be wise to draft 2 running backs and 2 dtackles.

Shough is gonna be 26. That has to be a major negstive.
Perhaps, but Jayden Daniels is 25, and Bo Nix is 25. So, Shough will be fine especially if he's seen as a QB2. Dude can play a solid 10 years, no worries, but a valid point.

They better sign most of these guys to add on to what they had. If not, they'll be spinning wheels and starting from scratch leaving a trail of excuses.

Get Lewis back, sign one of DLaw or Chauncey, re-up Lawson.

Does Golden running a 4.3 in shorts no pads make him a better player today than yesterday? Not meaning to single him out but just using him as an example of how combines in shorts and track shoes suddenly make a player look better.

It depends, but at his position where speed is an advantage probably so. I don't think Golden was this fast during the season, so the training he got boosted him. Golden was already a top WR in pads, but now he has elite speed.

Talk about wanting a guy out of your building.....

San Francisco has agreed to trade WR Deebo Samuel to Washington in exchange for a 2025 5th Rd pick. #Commanders Acquire1 yr, $17.5M (non-guaranteed) #49ers Dead Cap hit ......$31,020,600. The Niners will lose $15.1M of cap space per this trade, which won’t become official until after the March 12th league year start.

I don't get it. Why would SF make this move???? Just to eat all this money...
Because sometimes bold moves can be messy yet needed in order to get better as a team. All the well run teams understand this. It's not optimal but necessary sometimes.

Not hearing much about Damien Martinez but he is a load and better athlete than thought.

This is interesting but for me, let's just put on the game tape . No way in hell Hampton should be rated lower than Martinez. He's still a better player than most on the list... except Jeanty

I think they should all be in full uniform for all the tests, its been established that some people play faster than others in full pads

A little research shows Matthew Golden has actually produced in college..., especially after going from a smaller school to a bigger school.

It's just an athletic composite score, no biggie. I actually don't value Hampton like most, I think he's overrated.

it just keeps getting worse and worse how awful jerry jones is to this team. when the skins can get a receiver like samuel for just a fifth.
$17.5 million for a 1 year rental on an often injured player.

Jerry can use that to get 2 equally productive players, hopefully both on defense. Fill 2 holes for the price of 1.

Unfortunately, that money will go to Osa.

Quinshon Judkins running a 4.48 with a 1.51 10-yard split is filthy. Just based on tape, I thought he'd run in the 4.55-4.60 zone.
