Comcast’s brilliant new way to retain subscribers: Refuse to let them cancel w/audio

My wife once called Sears customer service over a situation caused by trying to get our dryer fixed (they had been out to the house like 3 times and still had not fixed it so she decided to ask for a supervisor) and told the SUPERVISOR "Does that seem fair to you?" And the supervisor told her "Who said life was fair?" So we wound up getting an allowance for a new dryer from our home warranty company and asked them to NEVER send Sears to our house to TRY and fix anything ever again. That's been about 3 years. We haven't bought anything from or stepped foot in a Sears since.
