Since the NFL has pretty much canned The Cowboys Channel, i've noticed that a lot of stuff that would normally air on the channel can now be found On-Demand. They have all the press conferences on there. They also have recaps for the day from Micky and Co. on there. Good place to catch up!

I'm behind the times, just got the digital cable box a few days ago, so I'm still not sure how the on demand stuff works. I remember when cable was simple!

you just press the on-demand button, go to sports, and if you have comcast, should have an option for Cowboys Channel. Not sure if the channel was an option for all Comcast subscribers no matter the location.

Time Warner is so ridiculously far behind on sports it's not even funny... those losers don't even carry the NFL Network

I went by the TW office to get a new modem and I asked about the NFL Network........they told me that we will ever see it on TW, as long as direct TV is not a threat money wise, to them. And they don't see that happening anytime soon.

So there you have it.

I feel for you brother...your missing some good stuff as a football fan. If you can, switch to Comcast and don't think twice.

hmmm...The NFL network is probably the only thing Comcast has an advantage over Comcast in. Comcast pretty much sucks at all levels. It took them 3 years longer than TW to get DVR. Took them forever (at least here) to get Fox in HD. Their equipment sucks and is full of bugs. They have crappy service, and don't even get me started on their internet service. If I could get a free HD dish from directv I'd switch back to them full time. Or if Time Warner was available, I'd switch to them, even if I lost the NFL network. I hate Comcrap.

...and it may be me. Or Comcast. Perhaps both, hmmm...

When I try to play the Comcast On-Demand Cowboy Channel choices (Press conf., camp notes, etc.) I only get video. The audio cuts off the second I press "Watch". When I press "Stop" to end viewing, the crappy audio for Comcast On-Demand commercials comes back on. What's up with that?

I feel undeservedly excluded, almost shunned, by the entire Cowboys organization.

The good news is that I finally broke down and bought a DVD recorder for my home theater system. So I will now be recording all games and whatever other Cowboy related material I can find onto DVD (with audio?!!?). I only hope the quality of the content is worthy of the medium.

Go Cowboys!

Is it just me or is the NFL Network screwed up all the time? The picture just freezes, no audio... and you're left with a silent distorted image. When it's not frozen, the picture is constantly warping and distorting like a bad dvd. Sometimes it's fine, but the majority of the time it's just unviewable. I don't know if it's the channel (I think it is, no other channel does this), or Comcast, but it sucks. I'm about to call Comcast and tell them to shove this amateur channel up their arse.

It was my cable, they finally fixed it. Problem now is, under On Demand / Sports and Fitness, I don't see a Cowboys Channel.

otero, make an account at dishnetwork.com and go to local channels, then apply for a waiver for(Dallas) distant networks. I live north of Houston(Montgomery) and was allowed the Dallas Fox station(could get up to two Foxs if I wanted) last year. I was turned down for the Dallas cbs then, but in Jan or Feb they were allowing it for some reason. (It doesn't appear to be an option anymore though.) My brother also was allowed these two stations(Conroe, TX). $1.50 a channel.
