I think this thread gives some insight into why the board seems to implode so much when we lose a game.

The Eagles have just as much of a chance as the Cowboys do of winning this game.

I think some of you guys are setting yourselves up here, jmo.

Setting ourselves up? How? Some of us just seem that we're more PHYSICAL and DOMINANT then the Eagles and are expressing it. Again, I really don't think this game will be close. I think we're much better and more hungrier then they are. It's just that simple!!!!!

Yep, and we were more physical and dominant than most teams last year and look what happened.

It's early in the season, the Cowboys look great, but I'm not ready to give them the NFC/NFC East Crown just yet.

Both teams played lousy opponents but at the end of the day, they both did what they were suppose to do, which is dominate the weak.

What happened? We went 13-3 and won the NFC East and we did all that with a QB in his 1st full year as a starter, a new HC, new OC, and we are one of the youngest teams in the league. I think our PHYSICAL and DOMINANT ways did wonders for us last year. Don't you?

And you are content with last year's results? Things could have been worse, all Cowboys can sympathize with that, however it proves that just because you have the edge on paper doesn't mean you are going to win the game.

And how is that funny again? One should be able to posts on this board intelligently. Thrash talking just gets the masses all riled up just due to the minorities who can't posts anything worthy! Or at the very least if you are gonna thrash talk back it up with facts and do it in proper grammar.

IDK our defense 2ndary was questionable last year. If we keep A. Glenn i think its a completely different season IMO. Also factor in the upgrade of Zach Thomas as opposed to Akin. A full year under a new head coach and offensive coodinator it will be a big difference. I'm pretty sure alot of people weren't expecting us to go 13-3 when we did. However where were could have easily been 11-5 we escaped the Lions & Bills. So take how you want this is a different team with more experience under the system that they are in.

I do agree that our oline can withstand the smaller Philadelphia line. Our size and our play can wear them out which is a benefit for us. But early in the game is where they will be more dangerous. I'm actually more worried about their defense more than their offense. I think our defense can hold their offense in check. People keep bringing up last year's loss. It was 10-6, not 40-6. We had many opportunities, but didn't cash them in. I happen to think Romo really wants this game.

Nope, I never said that but I do believe we did damn good under the circumstances that I listed in my earlier posts. I'm only content when we win the SB. You made the comment "look where our PHYSICAL and DOMINANT play got us last year" and I simply stated what it got us. Which was pretty damn good, again, under the circumstances we entered the season in.
