Floyd Reese is available. Bring him in as a CFO (Chief of Football Operations). You could still be on top as the "GM"...

Isn't that Stephen's job? Or one of Jerry's kids?

The Jones family is firmly entrenched in Dallas. Jerry has been a great owner, but I can't wait until one of his kids gets a crack at the GM job.

No. I have heard Stephen Jones, in one of his interviews w/ Norm Hitgzes, say that when the club is his to run, he is going to bring in a GM...

why? whats Jerry done to hurt the team the past 4 years?

he hired Parcells and got the hell out of the way

you people need to quit making scapegoats for the real problem

Jones was really messed up and made alot of bad moves, starting with the Jimmy fiasco...but the last 4 yrs are all on one other person, and it aint Jones

Here I go again. OK at the begining Jerry told Bill to keep Zimmer, Jerry forced Bill to find a QB out of that scrap heap of Q, Hutch, Henson. Jerry forced T.O. on Bill and you can't tell me Bill wanted that knucklehead. How can you blame it all on Bill when he was strong-armed on all of these decisions, and if he "got the hell out of the way" why is Jerry still in the war room on draft day bugging the people who know more about football players than he does.

Jerry basically gave BP everything he wanted the last four years. The scrap heap as you called it, was a mess, but as BP said, you can't just call 1(800)QB and get a quality starter. Jerry basically opened up his wallet the last 4 years and BP bought the groceries. So far the meal sucks.

And don't forget he wants Bill back again next year.

I know what you mean, but maybe there's hope. Galloway has always said Stephen is the only one in the family with any sense. Galloway said Stephen is alot different from Jerry and that Stephen should have been the GM instead of Jerry all these years. Maybe when Jerry quits his gig there is hope.:starspin

I don't mean to say that Bill has been great by any means but I think things would be better today than they are if Jerry were totally uninvolved. Look at it this way the Cowboys stopped being an elite team before Bill arrived and it's still the same and what is the common denominator....Jerry. Just look at the signs. It's the same post-Thanksgiving crumble thats been happening since before Bill got here.
