Who are the funniest comedians you have ever paid money to go see? here are my 5.

1. Bill Cosby, Marriott Center. My jaws and ribs hurt for hours afterwards.

2. Sam Kinison, Vegas Improv. I nearly had an accident. He was a genius.

3. Carlos Mencia, Casino Del Sol. A lot of peole hate him. I had a ball.

4. Jim Carrey, Vegas Improv. He did a thing with a lady's drink that had me in tears. I wasn't there to see him, because I didn't know who he was at the time, but he stole the night.

5. Michael Winslow, Laffs Comedy Cafe. He's the guy who did the sound effects for the Police Story movies. Very enjoyable show.

So far I've seen:

George Carlin in Vegas, we walked out. Too vulgar for my wife. I thought he was funny but very raunchy that day.

Gabriel Iglesias in San Antonio. He stold the show, that guy is clean and funny.

Gonna see Mencia in Dallas this coming Sept or Aug, one of those dates.

Sinbad at one of the Tunica casino's about 4 years ago. Very funny and clean. The best part of the show was him messing with the audience.

I wanted to go see Jeff Dunham a few months ago but didn't have the money.

Only been to one live comedy show and I don't even remember the guys name. Was a couple of years ago and he had a big bag of nothing. Just a bunch of stoner jokes and I'm not a stoner.

Don DC Curry

And all the no-name comedians who open shows at the concerts, I've gone to over the years..

I discovered her comedy recently looking up another comedienne named Tammy Pescatore. They were on a show together with Byron Allen and I thought she was hilarious.

Yeah, I love her. I have a bunch of friends who are in the same sorority, she's in, so that got her on my radar. I've only seen her live once and it was years ago when I was in undergrad.

She can get pretty raw, but I like her. I wanna say I've Sommore too, live, but I can't recall if she came to the comedy club or not.

Alot of the comedians I've seen have been in the small hole-in-the-wall comedy clubs and not in the big arenas they might play in now.

We've seen Chris Rock and Eddie Izzard live this year, and they were both well worth the price of admission...especially Rock. Since it was in Baltimore, he did a whole riff about The Wire that I don't think anybody else got on that tour. They were both (very selfish, I guess, since I got to go, too) gifts for my husband--one for a birthday, the other for our anniversary.

I guess the others I've seen in the past were D. L. Hughley (he was hilarious working the crowd) at what I think was the last show at the Baltimore Improv and Flip Orley at the DC Improv. (one of those hypnotist guys--really entertaining, even if it's not all real).

My friend was a participant in one of those hypnotist shows in Vegas. Hilarious stuff. She couldn't remember a thing, which is why we bought the video.

She's normally this soft-spoken person, but the hypnotist had her on the floor barking and snarling like a dog. She grabbed one guy out of the audience by his ear, because he was a "bad" boy.

I've never laughed so hard in my life.

DL Hughley is really good at working the crowd, but his overall routine is pretty weak. When I saw the Kings of Comedy live, DL Hughley was the weakest of them all. BTW, in the live version, Cedric the Entertainer closed the show. In the movie version, Bernie Mac closed the show.

My wife says she has to go see Chelsey Handler when she is around. I have seen her tv show a couple of times and don't get the hype.

I would like to see the guy that does the Fox Football Sunday impressions. Frank Caliendo I think. My son saw him last year and said he was awesome.

I have lived a sheltered life I guess. No known comedians that I know of. I have gone to the improv comedy club at Pleasure Island at Disney several times. Sometimes it is great and sometimes they bore you to tears.....

That dude is my hero! I grew up wanting to be him. :D

The only comedian I have seen live is the late great Mitch Hedberg. He is still one of my favorite comedians ever.

I wish I had gotten to see Carlin live. Me and my cousin was planing on going to see him next year :(

Saw Sam Kinison at the Celebrity Theatre in his prime.

I've seen Brian Reagan many times. Totally clean and the opposite of Kinison but every bit as talented.

Saw Dave Chappelle a few years ago and loved him.

Saw Bill Hicks in college and probably didn't appreciate it enough at the time. He was a true genius, very much in the vein of Carlin but completely unique.
