I'll catch it next time.

I should have looked for it the past two mornings, but it slipped my mind. Though I went to work at 5 this morning, so it was probably too late anyway.

Same here!! For as much interest as I have in space I'm almost ashamed that it slipped my mind. I will absolutely be looking for it this week. From what I understand it will be closest to Earth on July 22nd.

looked at it through my binocs tonight here in okc...just after 9:20ish...NW part of sky near big dipper.
because of light polution,it is really hard to discern with the naked eye.
go out to a wooded area or the country...away from city lights.
thru my binocs its very impressive...specially the tail.
it's not hale bop...i could see it easily...light polution be damned.
but this'ns tail is impressive to see.

I tried to look for it the other day from my back yard. Think there was too much light pollution.

i couldnt see it from mine so i moved to the front and was able to.
but with binocs.

I think I saw it tonight. Been nice if my neighbor didn't have their back porch light on. I don't own real binoculars but I do have these old paper binoculars from some event from years ago. Not much magnification but seemed enough I could make out a faint light with a streak behind it.

Ok, so I STILL haven't been able to spot this dang thing. LOL I heard it is NW/near or below the Big Dipper. Sad thing is, there is a street lamp exactly where the Big Dipper cruises by on my street. Go figure. I tried driving around last night in my truck to spot it with no luck. I did happen to spot the ISS though, so not all was lost. Tonight though............tonight I drive out a ways away from the city a bit and see if I can finally spot it!

I found it!!! I found it!!!!!! I forgot to come back and share that I finally found this dang comet! haha I drove way south of the city and as far as I could from light pollution, and I could still barely see it, but I did see it! It was definitely better with binoculars. Kind of cool to stare at it and think of it's journey and where it has been. Space fascinates me.
