Comics and Movies

Holy crap, is this a movie or a series? There's a LOT going on there! Hopefully, not too much!

I don't think I like the look of the Superman logo. If I didn't know it had always looked like an "S", I wouldn't even have seen it. Maybe that's the point. Maybe they're trying to get away from people thinking it's an "S" for "Superman"... Still don't like it. Ya don't mess with something so iconic.

My advice is to not watch My Adventures With Superman:

It appears to be the Superman shield from Kingdom Come, but without the black.

James Gunn posted the Kingdom Come cover, after being hired to take over the DCU.

The last of the series/movies that nobody asked for.

Like Echo, I think this thing will land with a thud and be quickly forgotten as they move towards Fantastic Four and Avengers: Doomsday.
It's related to Iron man content so maybe it will surprise.

I'd worried that it's Disney and I'm just not a fan of their format and style in the Marvel way, especially in their series..

Is it though?

I’m worried because it’s something nobody asked for, based on a failed comic book character and series.

I hope Disney/Marvel have learned their lesson with gender-swapping and repurposing established characters.

In their efforts to try to be all things for all people, they’ve alienated a lot of their core fanbase and have suffered for it financially.

With regards to the gender swapping, has Disney/Marvel come close to doing it well ?

How much is a lack of viewing audience interest in a female lead super-figure ? ... how much is the lack of imagination, creativity
by Disney/Marvel ( or even Sony or DC) in these female led superhero films ?

i think Black Widow and Capt. Marvel fed off the legs of the Avengers , while Wonder Woman was a one time hit wonder ( no pun intended) ..followed by one of the worse sequel i've ever seen from a superhero film. per Wonder Wonder '84. ..Uugh !

Disney certainly did not do it any further favors by producing the dreadful She Hulk series, and we saw first hand how the critics and audiences so very quickly sored off " the Marvels " into one of the all time box office bombs of the century.

Its not a superhero film film, but more so action film, but i'd be very interested to see what " Ballerina " does as a solo figure at the box office, although the hope is a John WIck appearance is being asked to boost the interest level.
