CRAP! It sure is. The worst thing is that I have looked at it several times, and the light bulb never came on. It is a fan-made one that is not even one made by the movie studio.

The Manhunters! And Sinestro?

Not sure how good this series will be, but HBO greenlit it. And trailers' tidbits are solid Green Lantern source material.

I won't lie. The first couple of trailers were not encouraging for me. At best, I thought it would be Peacemaker-level stuff. That is a good show, but not one I am high on. Lanterns is giving me a different vibe. A great vibe. Keeping fingers crossed.

Definitely Disney in my opinion.

We’ve all seen the wildly inconsistent Spider-man films that Sony was putting out before.

I feel that the improvement and stability came exactly at the time of the working agreement and the casting of Tom Holland.

And the arrow has been pointing up ever since.

Disney has consistently put out unwatchable crap for the last decade. Completely unwatchable since Endgame, and not just with Marvel, but Star Wars, Willow, Indiana Jones, and any other IP they have butchered lately.

Sony, as villainous as they are, are not as bad as Disney. Not even close.

Go see all of the Spiderman spin offs with no Spiderman in Venom, Morphius, and all that other crap. I do enjoy the Miles Morales Spiderman they crank out but that's about it. Those movies were not only bad but they didn't even try. It some things I wonder how they even get green lit to begin with. Here's a Spiderman spin off but with no Spiderman or any mention of him. And while the Venom movies are probably better than they should be.....we are going to insert Venom into the Spiderman universe just for him to never show up again becasue of Sony and Marvel's agreement.

Some of these Marvel products aren't bad. Captain America and Thunderbolts weren't bad. I get why they didn't do better but the weren't Sony bad.

I think they are trying for some truly distinctive look that is dissimilar to Marvel movies and television shows. Perhaps they are leaning towards an Elseworlds/Batman universe type 'feel'.

HBO had already received some critical acclaim with The Penguin. Perhaps they are shooting for something similar with Lanterns. Something dark and foreboding. It is a big gamble using the Corps in that fashion.

I *think* they are trying to convey some of Hal Jordan's dark past in the comics for live action. Not sure how well they can pull that off successfully within a suspense/mystery type setting.

I am not objecting to anything, but was only asking for your opinion on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? Disney has released around 12 or 13 movies since Avengers: Endgame.

I thought those would be at least two that the bulk of the general audience found to be above fair. Maybe not great or very good, but at least good movies.

As someone who's not what you'd consider an avid Star Wars fan, I have to say, The Mandalorian series, and Andor were probably my favorite Star Wars products, including the original movies.

Just curious how well you like Rogue One by comparison to Andor. Both are totally interconnected with each other. The series was flat out fantastic in my opinion, but R1 keeps getting better for me each time I rewatch it.

I've only watched it once, which probably gives some indication of my opinion. It was bad, but it didn't have the suspense and realism the series had, IMO.
