As we all know the Seahawks are coming off of a Bye week should be ready to play on Sunday...

But no one is talking about how they are traveling from the West Coast to play a early game on the East Coast..Kickoff is going to feel like 10AM for them..

Wasn't there a huge stat favoring the Home team when the West coast teams traveled to the East Coast last year??

The Seahawks are 3-11 when it comes to playing teams in the Central or Eastern time zones. I think that goes back to 2007.

Moose Johnston mentioned how much harder it is to be a west coast team and play on the East Coast. He said even coming from the middle of the country going East was harder. He said he always preferred to travel West than to travel East

I wonder what the time difference is from Seattle to Dallas...

Then the time change is one hour backward... divide by the square root of 1834, carry the 5, scientific notation.........

Seattle is going to feel like they're playing at 4 am.

You forgot the quantum factor, which makes it 4:30 am

I was going to mention daylight savings. That should actually help them where it only feels like one hour difference.

Am I really the only one who's going to note that Dallas is not on the East Coast??

Anyone???

What does the East coast have to do with it? Seattle is coming East 2 time zones.

The Seahawks are 3-10 over the last 3 seasons when they leave to play out of the Pacific Time Zone.

They are 0-1 this year having lost to the Colts.

In 2008 they won at the Rams (who didn't other than us?), but lost against the Giants, Cowboys, Cardinals (after the time change they are not Pacific time), Dolphins, and Buccaneers. Thus 1-5.

In 2007, a playoff season for them, they again won at the Rams and the Eagles, but lost to the Falcons, Panthers, Browns, and Steelers. 2-4

Well, you might want to ask the poster who started this thread that question, because what Dallas has to do with the East Coast was exactly my confusion to begin with. From the original post in this thread:

[But no one is talking about how they are traveling from the West Coast to play a early game on the East Coast..Kickoff is going to feel like 10AM for them.. Wasn't there a huge stat favoring the Home team when the West coast teams traveled to the East Coast last year??]

Indeed, what does the East Coast have to do with it??

Dallas is just about as in-the-middle of the country as you can get.

Anyway, I didn't mean to make a big stink about it.

Was just noting, yeah, Dallas isn't on the East Coast.
