I just watched the replay of last weeks game (for the third time) against Denver, and think Anthony Spencer was steady at the point of attack. I was impressed with his almost pass break up on the Daniel Graham catch, and think he will notch his first sack this pre season.

He showed me a player with a lot of hustle and willingness to work. He showed me a lot of talent that needs to be developed. He harrased the QB some and got back in coverage pretty well. For a guy that has never played the position before I'll take what he has shown me so far because he will only get better and better.

Don't recall ever seeing a gay guy wearin' a Mohawk... I think it's against their rules, or something... :D

Apparently you're not a fan of Top Chef.

Chicago native Dale has been a chef for six years, with plans underway to open his own restaurant. Whether he's cooking four-star meals, diving, or doing gymnastics, Dale's competitive edge is undeniable. He has created something he calls "flavor math," where the right number of spices can bring the perfect flavor and taste. He uses French American cultural influences in his cooking, and is serious about putting his skills to the ultimate test. He loves the fact that the other contestants could be "out-cooked by a queer." Dale will say what everyone else is thinking.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It amazes me how some want a Charles Haley out of a rookie from game 1 of the pre-season.

They've had him tearing it up on Madden for like 4 weeks now. So it is to be expected.

Man, you really do learn something new every day... but most days these days, it's stuff I'd really rather not have learned, LOL...

he's learning a new position, the kid has shown his athletic ability. I believe he will get better with each game as he understands his responsibilities that go with the OLB position.

He doesn't need to show you anything, assuming you could see whatever he shows.

It is other people who he needs to impress.

I heard on the radio yesterday that Schaub has only been sacked a couple (maybe firehawk's definition) of times or so, so it will be interesting to see how we do. Apparently Schaub isn't the sack magnet that Carr was.

Charles Haley was one of the better pass rushers of his time. We just wnat Spencer to make a play. Is that too much to ask? i was impressed by his recovery on that tip to Graham however.

It does help that Shaub is throwing the ball before you can count to one
