Commissioner Goodell you want a clean league, but you dont hold your refs accountable. When someone like Jerry Jones, Sean Payton protest about refs that blew bad calls, and it is shown on instant replay and later broadcasts that your refs blow bad calls, then something should be done.

It's like you dont want constructive critism shown to your refs, that in itself is not having a clean league. Your doing a poor job in that area with your officiating.

Time for you to get on the ball and hold those refs responsible and yourself responsible. It seems to me and fans, you dont want any owner of a team or head coach objecting to blown calls, because that shows your poor officiating refs and yourself. If you dont admit an error, and try to sweep it underneath the rug, how can you have a CLEAN LEAGUE.

TIME FOR YOU TO EITHER PUT UP OR SHUT UP GOODELL AND GET THIS REF THING FIXED.

If you are complaining about the Ed Hochuli blown call, he got down graded for it and even admitted he blew the call.

Jerry was on TV just this morning and said the officiating is better now than at any time in the 20 years he has been in the league.

Bad calls have been a part of the NFL since forever and they are not just going to go away.

Thats also Jerry kissing the leagues butt after his comments about the Hocholi staff and how they throw too many flags.

While I do not like Goodell and think he needs to be replaced as comish, in my opinion this strategy is very smart. You are allowed to complain and protest behind closed doors, just not to the media

If coaches and players are allowed to rant and rave about officiating, then there will be more scrutiny on officiating made public, which in turn makes the league look less attractive since more emphasis is being put on bad officiating instead of the game of football.

:laugh2: CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP)—Referee Ed Hochuli was at the center of another questionable call Sunday, flagging Julius Peppers for a roughing-the-passer penalty that wiped out Carolina’s interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter against Atlanta.
After Matt Ryan’s pass was intercepted by Richard Marshall, Hochuli threw a flag and announced Peppers made a helmet-to-helmet hit on Ryan. It erased the touchdown and gave the Falcons a first down on a drive that ended with a punt.
Replays showed Peppers made contact as Ryan released the ball, and appeared to hit him first with his shoulder.
Fans booed loudly when the play was shown on the video boards at Bank of America Stadium.
Two weeks ago, Hochuli’s missed call helped Denver’s comeback 39-38 win over San Diego.

Denver quarterback Jay Cutler dropped back to pass, the ball slipped from his hand and a San Diego player recovered. But Hochuli, who has refereed two Super Bowls, ruled it an incomplete pass. He later admitted it was the wrong call.
Denver retained possession, scored a touchdown and then won with a successful 2-point conversion.

I have always wondered how they remain "bias". You can't tell me they don't have a favorite team. I have seen some refs where you could plainly see their dislike for a team.

The Steelers vs Seahawks SB officiating is STILL a BIG disgrace to me.

I cant believe it went down like that.

Seattle got jobbed.

sidenote: then you look at Pats 3 SB win(has nothing to do with officiating) and you have 4 SB's tainted in last 7 years.

IDK if you can say it had nothing to do with officiating Oakland v Patriots was rule like the Tuck rule or something.

Maybe you should rewatch that. When Jerry said that he winked his left eye and smiled.
