What are your predictions of this Sundays game, Skins vs 'Boys?

It's been relatively quite during this rivery week, surprisingly, well not exactly since your team isn't playing all that well, nevertheless, I would have guessed that there would be more "trash talking" going on. Other than one troll who brought nothing to the table other than lies, there has been on discussions between Cowboys fans and Commanders fans on here.

So share your thoughts about this game.

You can't blame them for not showing up. I'd be scared to death if I were them.

In fact, I don't think I've ever seen ES as down in the dumps as they are now. I prefer Commander fan to be boisterous and loud. All they need is a smidgeon of hope and they'd be all over this board.

But alas, they don't even have that.

Yeah, I guess they don't have much to brag about. But still, this is a big game, in terms of rivalry so I expected some "friendly" discussions.

I too have noticed a lack of false bravado and homerism @ ES. The true lack of outrageous predictions is really biting into the wholesome entertainment I normally get out of the place during these weeks. It leads me to believe that some of them may be actual football fans.

Yeah, you'd think we were 2-7 rather than 5-4 with the way Commanders fans have been acting recently.

I guess it's because most of us expected something big or something out of the ordinary when Joe Gibbs came back.

We beat the teams we are supposed to and lose to the ones we're supposed to lose to - for the most part; it's a huge downer - most of us expected a lot more.

That being said, a win against Dallas would be a huge morale boost; I'm just not sure we have the weapons to do so.

In other words, we'll need to play the best game of the season; we'll likely need some heroic comeback victory to pull this one out.

Yeah, I hear you. I think that loss against eagles took lot out of you guys. It was your game but eagles snatched the victory from you guys, Taylor's injury certainly hurt you guys but I think coaching had lot to do with that loss. That loss was huge, in terms of playoff implications.

Anyways, hope to see a good game (Cowboys winning of course) but more importantly, no injuries.

That's just the way it's been - blown leads has been the story since Gibbs has been back coaching - making halftime adjustments used to be one of his specialties.

Just look at some of the losses this year against good teams:

vs Giants- Led 17-3, lost 24-17.
at Green bay- Led 14-7 at half, lost 17-14.
vs Philly- Led 12-7 at half, lost 33-25.

That being said I think we'll be playing from behind against Dallas - which might be a blessing in disguise.

How can I be optimistic about this situation.....I was hoping it would be a more even matchup..

Lloyd is a huge disappointment. Only two catches for 14 yards in nine game? And a head case...Yikes, heck of bargain for you guys.

Washington was back at practice last I heard and Moss was running around a bit today. He said he'll try to make full practice tomorrow, so we'll know more then. Sellers was out a single play, I don't think it was anything more than just a stinger or something. But damn, how will we ever recover from losing Lloyd? Call it off!!!
