PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- In the first half, quarterback Jason Campbell broke the Commanders' all-time record for most consecutive passes without an interception. Joe Theismann previously held the record with 161 passes in 1983. Dating back to last season, Campbell has now gone 166 passes without an interception. The Commanders have weathered a slow start and are now driving on the Eagles at the start of the second half.

That's impressive. I don't want to get too excited, but this team could be onto something.

This team showed some guts -- down 14, and outscore the Iggles 23-3 the rest of the way. Plowing over the Eagles defense. Impressive. Most impressive.

Every week this team has gotten better. As your own Jimmy Johnson said after the game, "That's a sign of good coaching."

And it is.

Campbell's renewed confidence in the pocket, his quicker release, his ability to make one step away from the rush and deliver the ball deep; all a testament to what Jim Zorn has done in a VERY short period of time.

Add to that 206 rushing yards against the league's #1 rated rush defense, and a defense that only allowed 10 offensive points with all the Eagles weapons on the field; and you've got a SCARY good team.

I tried hard not to get my hopes up after getting my heart broken for the last 17 years. But this...team...is...for...real.

Nice to see you here Hog :)

Jason made some big big plays being down by 14 to get us back in the game.

Very happy. The Commanders dominated from that point forward and it wasn't even close

I'm sure that the two of you will look wonderful together in matching burgundy and gold wedding tuxedos.
I'm a Commanders fan. I'll wear a dress.

Remember that year the Commanders started like 7-0 and missed the playoffs? Ha.....

Only difference that year was that Washington hadn't really played anybody up to that point. Washington has beat 4 quality opponents so far in the Saints, Cardinals, Cowboys and Eagles.

They're also doing an incredible job on defense considering that they've played the number 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 offenses going into the weekend.

This team is clicking on all cylinders right now and the offensive line is flat out dominating.

It's a long season, but boy am I a happy camper right now. Nobody gave this team a shot going into the season but with the Rams and Browns at home and the Lions on the road they have a legitimate shot at improving to 7-1 in the next 3 games.

Mistake-free football from your QB can take a team a long way.

I'm not going to write a novel about the game, but I will say that the Eagles playcalling/clock management is terrible.

I've always been a huge Andy Reid supporter, but it's frustrating to watch these predictable plays that he calls on offense. This is also another example of why the Eagles need a legit #1 WR. The offensive line gave Mcnabb all day to pass and no one ever really got open. Only bright spot of the game was Desean Jackson.

Especially if you get 200+ rushing yards against the #1 run defense in the NFL.

Wake up!!!

You will not win another division game this season.

I wouldn't go that far. They don't play Dallas again till the final game of the season and if Dallas has nothing to play for, playoff implication wise, we've all seen what Wade does then by shutting it down.

Personally I'd like it if Wade didnt' do that but Wade is Wade.

They will win a couple division games. It's not like the Commanders are going to do anything even if they make the playoffs.

Let's not get arrogant. The Eagles are a very solid team. I doubt they go 0-6 in the division. They need to protect more and open up their playbook a bit more. If they do that, they will be dangerous.
