Commanders again shopping DB Shawn Springs

Shawn Springs - DB - WAS - Apr. 24 - 11:49 p.m. ET</B>

The Commanders have reportedly offered DB Shawn Springs to Detroit.

The 'Skins are eying Calvin Johnson, but Springs alone surely isn't enough to move up four spots in Round One. They likely couldn't get to No. 2 even by offering Springs and the rest of their depleted draft.

What's really sad is that Matt Millen might be willing to do that.

My thing is...dude, Springs is 32!!!! Who wants to trade for a 32 year old CB?? Are you joking? Sounds like one of those bums in your FFL who wants to try and trade you has-beens for good players.

That place, RedStink Park, or whatever it's called, must be an insane-asylum!!

I cannot ever recall a team that is always in such disarray...it's so funny! They don't know if they are coming or going!

I know....it will just make my day if in the end the Skins pick another 1st round QB. Wow...I would erupt in some serious laughter especially when I read how the Skins officials justify making the pick.

Another thought is....why would you try to trade all the way up in the draft for CJ, when you have MILLIONS invested in three wrs on your roster already??? Goodness...makes me wish I could have applied for the GM (or whatever position name it's called since I don't believe there is a GM) and gotten the job.

it would seem snyder, like a lot other "fans" - likes to use the madden approach to trades.

Springs is 32, often injured, refused to restructure his bloated contract, and is universally believed to be the source for that scathing article last year about how disfunctional the skins front office is. Do they really need any more reasons to try and get rid of him?
