Commanders are expected to move on from coach Ron Rivera after four seasons on Monday

Just saying that Howell is the last person on that entire franchise that wants Washington drafting higher.
Don’t you think Howell would want to throw to WR Harrison Jr? Not happening if Howell wins today.

Howell would lose the whole locker room if he wins today. Not that he could do it by himself.

While Herbert isn't a perfect QB, Washington could of been in a whole other position had they taken him over Young.

i wonder if Wash. was so discouraged and gun shy after their last QB 1st round ended up being a
huge bust (the late Dwayne Haskins) while also thinking DE Chase Young was so heads and shoulder above
the next group of QBs after Joe Burrow.

Everyone knew he was a goner but it’s another reason the Cowboys better be prepared today because I’m sure a lot of players respect Rivera and will give it their all for him in this game.

I can't imagine, as a professional athlete or coach, that you would go out there and half-*** it in any game. I expect them to play Dallas tough.

Commandos will come out slinging and play their hearts out for Ron.

I hope not but it could happen.
I doubt it. Four years, a lot of ups and downs but nothing stands out. Just get the game over with, stay healthy and get home. The only hope they had to uplift them was when Dan Snyder was fired, but that was quickly erased when Magic had them trade away all their pass rushers. LOL

Rivera is currently 102-102-2. Would be nice to get him below 0.500. Not many coaches in the past 30 years have one tie on their record much less two.

If I was them Id give Howell another season. He is a talented as most QB's that go at top of drafts and he showed some promise
When you have the second pick in a draft with the QB talent of this draft, you dont give Howell another year

Belichick and Bienemy would be an interesting combo. Not sure it would actually work, but it makes sense on paper.
I think he would rather go somewhere where a good amount of the roster, particularly the QB was in place. I doubt he's looking for a rebuilding project to me the Chargers make the most sense, but he'll have options.
