Commanders at NYG Thurs Night - who are we pulling for?

I'm torn on this one as there are probably many schools of thought on which outcome is best for our Cowboys

1) by sheer records, one could argue a Commanders win (edit- I meant loss) is in our best interest

2) NYG have shown a tendency to improve as the season progresses so them being in as deep a hole as possible is best for us

3) Commanders looked surprisingly good last Sunday against what was perceived by many as a real-deal Rams team - they could be an NFCE dark horse team so let's keep them behind

I'm going with #2, what you guys/gals got and add other scenarios you see should be in the mix

I think I would prefer the gnats to lose in the long run. Don't see the skins as much as of threat. The rams have always been disappointing.

Hard to say, it would be nice to put the Giants in a deeper hole with 3 losses because I don't believe the Skins are going anywhere with Cousins, but they did look pretty good against the Rams.

As long as Dallas wins vs Alt a loss by either NY or Wash is a win for Dallas.

We have the Commanders on the schedule when the team should be more healthy. Let the skins come along with us until the end of the season, and then we can do our own dirty work.

This is easy, Giants won't scare me any more when they get to 7 losses as op says they have a long well documented history of late season runs. Additionally we should have romo and fez back for both wash games where as next giant game will be without both. Go Commanders

At this point, since both teams are in the division, you should root for the team the Cowboys have beaten, which is the Giants.

Giants. If they beat Washington and we win, that gives us a full two game advantage in everybody in the NFC East. Everybody on this board should be pulling for the Giants in that game IMO.
