Commanders Chase Young will make season debut Saturday

He has been out a long time, I would not expect much from him this year.

Was not playing nearly as well in 2021 as he was in 2020 even before the ACL tear. He was kind of a one-trick pony as a pass rusher and got figured out. There were also rumblings that he was chasing sacks rather than playing within that system.

Dude is definitely a physical specimen but he’s gotta show on the field that he’s a top flight DE. One year good one year bad so he’s shown it before. We’ll see.

Interesting.

I would say that I hope the Commanders beat the 49ers now that Chase Young is back, but it won't help the Cowboys in any way since the 49ers have a 3 game lead in their division, plus they are 5-0 within their division opponents. 49ers could lose these last 3 games but they still would win their division. The only bad thing if Chase Young suddenly starts playing well is they are a division rival who our Cowboys have to play against in 3 weeks to end this regular season. A game which our Cowboys will need to win in order to keep that #5 ranked status in the NFC Conference and enable us to play at the weaker Tampa Bay Buccaneers instead of at the stronger San Francisco 49ers.

Rather play the niners. Gonna need to beat them to win a Lombardi anyway. Might as well find out in the WC round if they've got what it takes.

I can almost guarantee week 18 will mean nothing for the Cowboys.
