First of all, I'm going to try my best not to say anything that will offend you guys and make me seem like another troll...so here it goes. Being a Skins fan, I'm obviously going to say that I think the Skins are going to beat your Cowboys. Why? (and this is just going to show how pathetic we've been over the last decade almost) Simply because the Skins haven't played a meaningful December game in a looooong time, much less a meaningful game agaisnt the Cowboys. Not only have the Commanders not experienced it but neither have the fans in D.C. Expect for the Commanders 12th man to make up for many of the injuries on our defense (all three of our CB's are hurt and all could be out on Sunday). Also, Gibbs is going to motivate our team for this game probably more than he has done all year. I'm not saying that Parcells isn't going to get his team ready to play because you guys have just as much at stake as we do BUT!!! Parcells hasn't always been involved in this Skins vs. Boys rivalry...remember he was a midgets coach. Gibbs has always hated the Cowboys. Parcells use to hate you guys when he was a coach at NY. I'm not going to lie to you though, this game scares me more than the Skins vs. Midgets game cause you guys have owned us over the last 8 years or so. I'm not going to sit here and brag about the ONE win we had over you guys earlier in the year when it was just that, ONE win. What I am going to say about that game, and you guys shouldn't deny this, and that is that no Joe Gibbs coached football team is ever going to quit. So if you guys want to win this Sunday, make sure you really put us out cause we're going to continue bringing it til the clock hits 00:00. Oh and, I have to plug this, Hail to the Commanders (dont ban me for that)

Break it up into paragraphs, it is easier to read that way.

I see your points but I also think Dallas will be out for revenge for game 1. Teams don't like dominating games and then choking them away.

Its a must win for both teams. Everyone will be fired up for this one, Better team will win. I just dont think there is more to it than that.

I mean at this point, throw out previos history, injuries, revenge factor....loser prolly wont make playoffs, end of story.

First off skns36, don't worry, this isn't ES so you won't get banned for merely stating your opinion! ;)

Anyhow, you make good points, and you are right, the Commanders have shown a propensity to keep fighting all year long, win or lose. I certainly don't expect any kind of cakewalk but I do agree with what Hoov is saying in this thread; after the emotion plays itself out during the 1st quarter, the more talented and healthier team will rise to the occasion, and I do think that's the Cowboys at this stretch, especially with the injuries the 'Skins have on defense.

It really could go either way, of course... but I like our chances. We spanked you up and down the field in September.

One of the biggest things... and I've used this going back to the early 80's... it is dang hard for an NFC East team to sweep another NFC East team. If you go back and look, I bet you there are many more years where the teams split then when either team swept.

Heck, even in 1989 when Dallas was so pathetic that they only won 1 game... that game was against the Commanders. Our recent winning streak non-withstanding... it's hard for either team to sweep, IMO.

So, we got that going for us.

I'n afraid the 12th man won't be able to get out on the field and cover Terry Glenn.

Hence, you lose.

PS Paragraphs are your friends. :)

Don't count on Moss having a repeat performance, because he will be blanketed...you can bet the house on it. Brunell better stretch before the game, cause he's gonna do a lot of running on Sunday.

Your CB's are hurt too?

There is a whole different attitude for this game than the last. First the boys where riding a monster win streak verses the skins, were sitting on a 13 point lead & got burned for it. This is a must win for the boys ( and the skins for that matter). The competition we have played over the last 3-4 weeks has been nothing but top teir. We should have won them all, meaning we played well enough to win them all. Not pulling a win out at the end over the freakin cardinals like the skins. The cowboy defense is far better than when we played the first time & our offense has taken it the length of the field & scored at crunch time on defenses far superior to the Commanders. The skins will hang in their for a half & after that get run over like a freight train! Prossman

Holy cow! Two questions: where have you been and why don't you ever post? A great name from the past, going all the way back to the TSN Cowboys board if I remember! Good to see you on here Pross!

I don't get this whole theory that the crowd is going to influence the game to the extent that the game is going to swing an entirely different direction (and btw Commanders fans, the Seahawks and Aggies were there first with that whole 12th man nonsense). This ain't college ball.

OK Chad Johnson too bad your 12th man is pretty weak when America's team comes to town. Think about this when your team is on offense in the third qtr trying desperatly to take a chunk out of a 21 pt deficit created by the void that has become your secondary...the good half of the people at Fed Ex wearing blue, they will be screaming so loud Brunell wont be able to hear himself yell 340.
