Just want to hear everyone's thoughts on how our Safeties match up against anyone else's in the NFL, namely the Ravens and Steelers.

IMHO, Landry and Atogwe are now the best tandem in the NFL. While neither may be the best at their position (Landry arguably, but that's a different thread ), no other team can match the duo:

Ravens: Ed Reed/Dawan Landry - Ed Reed is arguably the best FS to ever play the game, so he beats out OJ, but Laron is light years ahead of Dawan. OJ/Laron win this one.

Steelers: Polamalu/Clark - Polamalu is one of the top two SS in the NFL these days, with Laron being the other one. Atogwe beats out Clark when comparing FS. OJ/Laron win this one.

The earth is round and the sun is bright. That is just as newsworthy.
 
It is a stretch, but I don't see what the big deal is. They now have a solid set of Safeties on paper, so it was bound to be a discussion topic. We had quite a few posts on the very site debating if we had the best wide-outs in the league right after we traded for Roy Williams a few years back (the answer ended up being no, by the way).
 
The only thing I would actually believe is... The Commanders have better safeties than the cowboys :).
