I've heard a report or two that they may be interested in Wade P. I sure as hell hope not. He wold be a great addition to that staff, IMO (unless he's hired as a HC...)

The problem the Commanders are facing is that Gruden is heading into year 4 of his 5 year deal. I think he's done a great job--but it's not the most secure of positions for a new DC come in. If they fall flat, and I don't think they will--not with St. McClougan, Patron Saint of Moribund Franchises calling the shots--but injuries, regression, a lot can happen, and it could be Gruden is ousted. It might affect a top DC's decision.

That said--I would love Wade Phillips. Love him. So long has he not a Head Coach.
