This is total deja vu to me. The players and the details were different, but the ultimate result is exactly the same.

Last year....open on the road on national tv, make bonehead play, lose a nail biter at the end.

This year....open on the road on national tv, make several bonehead plays after building a nice lead, lose a nail biter at the end.

Last year, we never ever recovered from that loss. Looking at the schedule this year, I am terrified that this will start a similar downward spiral.

@ san fran....game we probably should win, but 4th straight week on the road, upstart team who got a nice win today, and a big rival who will certainly give us their best shot. Are you supremely confident we win this one? I am not.

vs Washington ....they looked far better than most expected today and this game is always a dogfight no matter records.

vs detroit....upstart team with a scary D

bye

at new england.....anyone think we're winning this one?

This could easily be 1-4 or 2-3. And with @ philly shortly after that, we could be looking at a 2-5 or 3-4 start. And if we do stumble in these games, I just don't think we will be able to recover from it. Again. That's why this loss hurts so bad. This would have been a supremely important victory. Could have changed the whole course of the season. Would have been a huge boost for the confidence of this team. Instead you're left with the wreckage of a disaster finish. Shell shocked.

Certainly, an unexpected winning streak is not impossible. I just don't know that we'll have it in us.

Brutal.

This season is deja vu all over again.

It is over. The team will never recover from Romo's brain farts. Romo is not mentally capable of playing QB in the NFL.

Cam Newton knows more about quarterbacking and leadership than Romo ever will.

Romo is a failure and will continue to digress.

Not really. We never led in that game. Tonight was in the bag multiple times.

Exactly what players made boneheaded plays. I really only know of one. Others made mistakes.

Although the results were disappointing, this is nowhere near that Commanders game last year. We played horrible that game for the most part. You could tell during that Commanders game that some guys weren't focused and lacked a lot of confidence. This game you saw a good effort on both sides of the ball.

The Commanders were not a good team.

The Jets are.

Cowboys should have won this game.

Cowboys almost stole the Commanders game.

Cowboys have young talent and an engaged coach.

Cowboys had the Big Greasy Southern Dummy. Enough said.

This is not like last year, but in previous years this team has lost games it should've won against quality opponents in big games.

This team can beat anybody if they don't shoot themselves in the foot, but we do it every year on way or another.

Not really.

I'm optimistic for next week.

Yeah i'm sure we'll roll san fran(We better), still won't wash the taste out of my mouth. Also won't change the fact that we have washington, detroit, and new england after, all very loseable games.
