WED practice report from the Commies:

I expect all of the "rest" players to play on Sunday, to include Ferrel and McLaurin who have slash ailments along with rest. I further expect Ekeler (eligible to come off IR) to play as he was full go. I also expect the one "limited" to play, but that is a not too important STer, regardless.

Of the DNPs, Wylie (starting OT) is, per Quinn, trending to play. I expect the rest of the DNPs not to play.

Of course we will learn more on THU/FRI and I will revise my Bayesian prior if players move to LP or FP. But right now that would mean following players out:

Starters:
Baidasz, OC
D. Brown, WR
Lattimore, CB

Reserves:
Lucas, swing OT
Owens, technically a S, but basically a pure ST coverage guy

Washington must be trying to avoid the Eagles in the wildcard rd. Rams are probably the better match up for them. I thought for sure they were gonna sit their starters .

You absolutely want the Rams. That possibly keeps you out of Detroit or Minnesota round 2

Yeah, they care about 6 versus 7. They will play it like a regular NFL game in season that they care about winning. No starter resting. If someone is medically cleared, he will play.

If y'all win, you earned it. Same as last time.

THU injury report is out.

OT Wylie moved up to limited (expected, based on coaching remarks). Only unexpected thing was WR Dyami Brown, with a hammie, moving up to limited. So I now expect him to play. So the expected injured players not active on SUN will be:

Starters:
Baidasz, OC
Lattimore, CB

Reserves:
Lucas, swing OT
Owens, technically a S, but basically a pure ST coverage guy

To prove what
It’s Washington, there’s nothing to prove it’s a rival you beat them no matter what . I don’t know how you enjoy your watching your football. I love beating teams as much as I like watching teams I don’t like lose. It’s always a pleasure to beat up on Washington.

They aren't ducking philly lol. That fanbase doesn't want to get swept by Dallas and the new regime doesn't either. Quinn of all people better be ducking a Shannahan coach

Indifferent.......yawn!!

best part of this game is post-game the process begins; who stays, who goes?

come on Jerry, who are you interviewing for the HC job, if not the new offensive staff at MIN>>> Will Zimmer retire, talked into staying, maybe his conditions is fire MM and he's the new HC.,,

stay tuned the fun part of 2025 begins 630pm CST!!

LOL

The season is lost bro. I like watching a better draft placement in each round, thus giving the team the chance to draft better talent in each round. That gives me better hope for next year.

It’s not going to make a difference

Quinn gave some early info on the Injuns' injuries:

Lattimore (starting CB) and Owens (coverage teams S) are out for sure. As is LB Mcgee. The last is a surprise, since I figured limited was good. But he's a very fringe player, so no big. No word on Badass (center) yet. Guess we will see what the 1600 official report says.

I need to find a good source for the Cowboys injury situation. I get the impression they are all healthy, but Parsons did pop up on the THU report.

Final RedComs injury report:

Lattimore (CB) is the only starter rule out. (Owens and Magee are out, but are special teams guys.)

Badass (OC) is doubtful, and is also a starter. Lucas (swing OT) is the other doubtful.

I'm not too concerned about the three questionable players as I think it's likely several/all of the go and none are really vital: Ott (long snapper), Ekeler (3rd down halfback), and Osborne (depth WR).

FWIW, here is the Cowboys report.

Not sure if any of the one out or four questionable guys are vital. (Parsons is fine.)

You win more games by getting the 11 position instead of the 17 position. That's in every round.
