I hope the skins beat the jags so everyone can say portis is the answer, then we go to fedex and mop up the skins. That would redeem our week 1 loss, then we could use an excuse as to why we lost, we were rusty!

I really don't even think this game will be close. The Commanders D-line has looked horrible against every team not based in Houston. Brunell will spend a good deal of that game on his back.

Its Rashean Mathis. And he is a top 15 cornerback.

Maybe top 10.big maybe.

But he gets beat too much in my opinion to be top 10.

Jacksonville is a different team away from their home stadium. While I would love for them to destroy the Skins, I just don't see it happening. I think it'll be a close game.

Skins 19
Jax 20

No way the skins score 19...

unless they have 2 kickoff returns.

Instead of watching the cowboys you are going to go to a skins game??

HUH something is wrong here...

I'm going to watch the Cowboys game while I tailgate.

I expect the game to be a foregone conclusion by the time I need to go in to the stadium, and if it's not, I'll just go in a little late. I'm also TIVOing the game so I can watch it more closely later.

I don't go to any games where there is a direct conflict with a Cowboys game.

Don't get me wrong... Jacksonville is a very very good team... but this game will be very, very tight. As far as matchups go, these are two very good defenses that don't have alot of experience playing against each other. They are stylistically similar, but with different talents.

I think 9 of 10 times the Cowboys beat the Jags. We just didn't get it done. I think 9 of 10 times we beat the Skins.

I think the Jags beat the Skins 7 of 10 times on a neutral field.

I think the Jags beat the Skins 5 of 10 times in D.C.

Skins by 1. 17-16.

Well, I suppose it could happen this way but I doubt it. I think you are underrating the Jags and perhaps overrating the skins. I know Portis makes a huge difference, but Del Rio will try to force Brunell to beat them today. I don't think Brunell can get it done.

After reading the posts above this I gotta laugh......there's always 2-3 games each season that you shouldn't win and 2-3 you shouldn't lose but it goes the other way every time.........

OVERALL......we did win that game however that D-line got destroyed all night......makes me think.......

Ummm no I wasn't underrating anyone nor overrating anyone either. Regardless of the Skins record, they are far from "done" and this game proved that. The fact that they scored so often against Jax tells me we will see a much tougher game in D.C. That said, we still win if we stay healthy and our O-Line continues to gel as they are.
