Jeez. He looks like a 40-year-old bass player in a struggling front band.

Damn he looks like McGruber.

Plus, he can't play.

For some reason, MS thinks he can. Here in the DC area, it sounds like he's gonna be the starter. Him and Rex both, were claiming the starting job this week on sports talk radio..

Beck is obviously trash. He has been garbage in every outing he has had in the NFL. He was third string for three teams, and then all of the sudden he is given the starting job based on what he did 7 years earlier in college (but has never duplicated).

But what's hilarious is that the typical idiot Skins fans are convincing themselves and claiming publicly that Beck will be a franchise QB. It's just the latest data point that proves Skins fans are the biggest morons in the entire league. They think every move they make will put them in the championship. Yet then the season happens and they suck yet again. But the next off-season, the idiot fans forget and go through the same stupidity. Mike Shanahan could have publicly said "I'm putting a handicapped sea otter at quarterback" and the idiot Skins fans would begin rationalizing why the move will work and how the otter will be top in the NFC East. After all, Shanny is a Super Bowl winning coach and QB guru who got that title by being lucky enough to be hired to coach John Elway.

Idiot Skins fans are so far detached from reality that the only explanation is that every Skins fan--including the ones that post here--are simply too stupid to be self-aware.

They *had* to have had other plans fall through. It's the only explanation.

I don't think so. MS has always liked Beck and wanted him coming out of college and they didn't even use a draft pick on a young QB to groom. MS thinks he's a mastermind and he's extremely stubborn, he's determined to go with Beck in my opinion. I'm really glad we didn't get MS when our HC was in turmoil. Watching him up close here in the DC area, I really don't like what I see. He's terrible with personnel, that was said to be his problem in Denver..

I have to think they were at least planning on drafting someone. Weren't they supposed to have liked Locker? I think they were taken by surprise when he went before their pick.

Maybe they even thought they'd trade back and take Ponder, and then he also went before anyone expected.

I was surprised they didn't take Gabbert, though. He seems like the athletic type Shanny likes. Guess they just didn't like him for whatever reason.
