The Skins rook took a little shot at the Boyz this afternoon...he actually said "Cow girls"...hopefully "Fat Rob" walks away with a fat L on Turkey Day.

He's also dead wrong - there are quite a few Cowboys fans in the DC area (including me)...

Blokes, love the bulletin board monkey dung. Embrace it!
Too bad that, by now, the veterans might have already counseled him.

I honestly believe the best thing that could have happened was a blowout win by the skins Sunday night. Coming in to this game over confident with a short week to prepare will definitely benefit the Cowboys. Just like the ravens and the steelers, I expect them to come out fired up and playing like this is their SB and after the adrenaline wears off (so long as the game doesn't get out of hand early). We will exert our will on them and wear them down til they relent and leave out of ATT stadium yapping about how they should of won the game. It will be sweet dessert to my thanksgiving dinner feasting on the skins and their fans tears.

This is not to say that I do not have a healthy respect for the division rivalry and understanding that the better does not always win. But I believe that this cowboys team is finally buying into what Garrett is selling (as evident by the parroting of the players in their interviews). Garrett's constant preaching of process, stacking good days on top of good days, not looking beyond the next practice or next game, understanding that banners aren't hung in Nov/Dec...you got to finish the job), every team in the NFL is a good team capable of beating you if your not appropriately prepared, etc., along with the comraderie of the team, and talent level will be enough to propel this team to victory Thursday.

ESPN was just talking about this. If I knew how, which I may learn to do soon. Could have recorded it and put it on here. As it was great segment. @ guys were talking and getting very excited about the Dallas OL.
On how teams come in, have a little success in the first quarter or so. But Dallas keeps plugging away at their game plan. Eventually wearing down the DL. They eventually getting tire and then get pushed around in the 4th quarter.
One of them said, it is especially good when they are on the road, and it just takes the team and the crowd out of it, when the OL is crushing the DL like cock roaches, or something like that.
It was great.
But they also said the Commanders are having some of their own success on offense as well. But from the running game and Cousins doing well.

"It's DALLAS WEEK!" That's all I've been hearing on the news and radio the last few days here in DC. It's so annoying, and a little bit sad. Skins fans are absolutely OBSESSED with the Dallas Cowboys. Honestly, who can blame them? We have the history, we have the fan base, we have the stadium, we have the Star, we have the media attention, and we have the best uniforms and colors. Compare all of those things to what the skins have, and it's easy to see why they're obsessed with our team..... they dream of having what we have.

Yeah it is they have the only board i have ever seen where everything is $%^& the cowboys ! Hahahahaha like a bunch of 10 year olds that just learned how to curse with there friends ! Just kinda of funny grown men talking like that all the time really lame.

I will call it now i am willing to bet they are already lining up the ref excuse and we get all the calls. They cannot look at the fact they have 76 penalties called on them and we have 66, so maybe just maybe they are a little undisciplined. But far be it from me to expect a skins fan to take a look in the mirror and give an honest critique of there own team.

If its not the refs, it will be the scheduling gods who were unfair, or they had to travel on top of a short week. If the Boys lose which in a division game like this could possibly happen since records never matter when the Boys and Skins get together they will go overboard with the win talking how we suck they beat us with no prep time and so on and so on. Give me a break how much prep time do you need vs a division rival you know like the back of your hand.

So funny thing is no matter the outcome the boys can't win in a Commanders fans eyes LOL

I get fans'passions about hating their rival teams, but don't get why players want to identify as something like a "Cowboys hater". I mean some day you may be coming hat in hand to Jerry asking for a job. What if Jerry's the only GM interested in giving you a roster spot, but then a staff member reminds Jerry that you are punk who said he hated us? Is Jerry inclined to realize that it's "just business" and you pandered to the fans for acceptance back in DC and signs you regardless....or does Jerry think, "yeah, I don't want this punk on my team", and voila, you're out of the league? Lesson to be learned: "don't open your mouth too wide and burn your bridges".

That's one sharp Commander rookie. How long did it take for this stroke of genius?

I mean, it's only one of the most intense rivalries in American professional sports history.

Did this revelation coincide with his discovery that the games are televised?

Actually, in this day and age, it's kind of refreshing hearing the trash talk. Like the old days. Political correctness be damned.

Having said that, I hope we make him eat those words (he seems to like to eat apparently).

I agree.

As long as the talk is about what happens on the field...I have no problem w/it. Growing up I had the most fun playing with guys who could dish--and take some chatter.

Fairly certain the largest pct of cowboy fans outside of Texas is in the DC / Maryland area lol.

Cousins should be glad that McCloughan is a raging alcoholic and too drunk to do much, or else Scot probably would have whipped his *** on prime time TV.

While I appreciate a good rivarly, I do have to admit, I'm impressed with this Garrett lead team with all this smack talk. Commanders sure are dishing it out and I haven't heard the Boys talk any smack at all. I'm thinking they'd rather do their talking on the field. At least I hope that's how their thinking.
