NBC Sports Washington's JP Finlay writes it is "hard to see a scenario" in which S Su'a Cravens returns to the Commanders.
It is almost the exact same wording ESPN's John Keim used to describe the situation in January. Despite applying for reinstatement, it appears Cravens' time in Washington is finished. With three years left on his rookie deal after his contract tolled last season, Cravens should draw some interest on the trade block. Feb 13 - 11:39 AM

Don't remember us having reported interest, but this seems like the kind of FA we'd bring in for a look if he ends up on the street. He didn't do himself any favors in the Commander locker room, but I thought he was going to be a good player for them at one point.

If his head and heart are back in it, he's a talented football player.

He's a much more athletic version of Barry Church IMO.

it seems every off season we have a interest in everyone

We need to invest in blue chip players not penny speculative stocks.

Wouldn't give him any guaranteed money.

If you trade a late round pick for him you get him with 3 years left on his rookie contract. Last year didn't count, because he went on the reserve left team list. The only problem is he had bad concussions and had to be talked out of retirement. Players I know have said, once you start talking retirement, you're retiredand this isn't the first time he's left a team, he did it in college too.

Sure does. That should scare off a bunch of teams.

eh, every player might be, we still dont know if Rico does. are you willing to gamble on it either way. a perfectly good player just needs one good hit

is he one of garrett's kind of guys? surely this will be first and foremost among any other considerations.

What round was he drafted? What does his rookie contract look like?

If he is very cheap (drafted in a later round) if he can play he may be a bargain if the draft pick is conditional on him being active and eligible for a period of time.

If he was a high round pick I'm not sure it would be worth our time because if he is cut he would sign for much less money because of the suspension than he would earn under his current contract.
