As far as being legit,
I think the Skins finally have a solid foundation/football program in place with good systems (offensive and defensive) and that's a good start. Firing Cerrato, and bringing in Bruce Allen / Shanahan (football people), really has solidified the front office. They have drafted well and have a lot of young "up-and-coming" players.
It takes time however.
I think RG3 will make a huge impact as a leader (even as a rookie -- he's just a natural leader; we are already starting to see it). I'm not necessarily sure how many more games they'll win. There's still a lot of question marks. But either this year or next, I think people are going to see the fruits of the labor done by the skins front office over the last couple of years.
