Good depth signing for us. We looked lost without JReed and DJax on the field and I doubt Reed is going to last 16 game seasons. Not saying Vernon's play hasn't dropped off, but with an actual QB he might be able to contribute.

I think he is too. But I heard they really intend to use him in a lot of 2 TE formations where he could still be effective. Anyway, if he has nothing left it will be obvious in TC and he'll be cut.
