Gary Fitzgerald, of Commanders.com, reports the Washington Commanders gave free agent DT Willie Blade (Cowboys) a tryout at their weekend minicamp.

I wouldnt call Noble washed up or worthless.. he actually played pretty well for us and for the Commanders..

Gawd I am glad that we don't have to deal with lesser talent anymore. Further I am glad that we have moved on from saying what Noble did was good. Three cheers for Bill!

Yeah he did, think he had an ACL injury in his first or second preseason game with them. Don't think he ever got on the field for the regular season.

I thought he was solid, not spectacular, but solid. I wouldn't lump him in with the rest of those guys though.

I think it was JJT in his recent Zone Q&A that said Blade was the most talented player with the most lazy work habits he had seen in recent years on the Cowboys. Someone like that always gets another shot.

Ahh, Noble played very little for the Foreskins. Evans was much more productive for them...
