Well that's game. Commanders had a chance to comeback with some momentum to end the half but they just threw it away with that pick

Vick has found himself. He's the Dez Bryant of QBs. A natural.

Michael Vick could eat newborn infants for breakfast every morning and Philly fans would still worship him.

45 points by halftime. I have to think Haslett does not survive this season.

Serioulsy Jaws?

This might be the year?

He'll never be accepted until he hoists the Lombardi? Am I to assume that NO ONE in the history of the franchise has been accepted? lmao....didn't seem to have too hard of a time accepting the dog killer.

The flipside of Jaws is Boomer Esiason on the radio. He's giving Vick credit but still keeps his off-field life in perspective as well.

I always said - Shanny won't be the coach for the Commanders at the beginning of 2012 season. Can't believe they gave McNabb an extension! He wont be on the Commanders either for the 2012 year. Before this extension, I would have said 2011 for McNabb, but for that kind of money, they have to keep him next year. Snyder is a real idiot.

For those of you that want Shanny for a coach, all you have to do is wait one more season. I think the game has passed him by, so I want him nowhere near a Cowboy contract.

I don't like Vick the person, but I'm loving Vick the player.

Look, no one is calling Mike Vick Humanitarian of the Year (although Ditka came close in pre-game o_O)

But he's one of the best athletes ever to play in the NFL, and now he's playing for a coach that knows how to get the most out of him.

Without even considering Mike Vick's off-field issues, I hated him as a player. He was a terrible passer in Atlanta. Maybe terrible is too strong. He was not a very accurate passer, though, and he did not have a pass-first mentality. I didn't want him on the Eagles at all. I didn't think he could ever play like this. I never imagined him passing like his has. Making good decisions.

But he's doing that now. He's been the best QB in the league when he's in there. He's playing at an almost inhuman level. I'm not just saying that as an Eagles fan. Nobody has played as mistake free. No QB has made as many great plays.

As for Vick, the human? Not a fan. At all. Philly fans aren't rooting for Vick the human, though. There's guys like Vick on most franchises, who have done stupid and/or horrible things. If not currently, there's been guys on darn near every team in the past. It's just part of the territory in the NFL.

Why does a side view of Shanahan's head resemble the Denver Broncos logo?

I'm with you. It's nice to see a person who holds sickos accountable. He didn't pay his debt.

People like to act like a person serving a jail sentence means they should be forgiven. Imagine if he would have raped a child and served his 2 years. How many people would be ok with him playing again.

I know what a sick pos he is and anyone supporting him or wearing his jersey is human garbage as well.

Well, society disagrees with you. He lost millions and served some time in prison, which is much more than the average "dog-killer". Debt paid in full.

Forgiveness isn't necessary, but the people wishing bad things to happen to him really aren't any better. In fact, it's pretty hypocritical.

You're right, nobody would support him if he raped a child. However, he did nothing even remotely of that caliber of a crime. It's not even close. So, that's really a terrible point to attempt to make.

Why was that a catch? I thought the ball couldn't even be moving around when you landed out of bounds? And that one was never under control unless it was once he was OB.

These rules are just getting ridiculous. No wonder officials aren't consistent with them.
