Seriously?

Well..

Just a guess on my part..

..but I wouldn't doubt it the way they loop one commercial after the other with his crappy smile..

..and his pretty dreadlocks.

I want a break..

Next year..Eddie Lacy should be their rep.

Great trade by the Rams even before this year. Massive fleecing now.

Rams could finish 8-8 and draft 2nd overall.

Meanwhile the Commanders are firing their coach.

Remember when the NFC East was like what the NFC West is right now?

In the NFL, as in life, the only thing constant is change.

And two good HC's revamping two franchises...moreso SF, they were bad for a real stretch after Garcia.

It was the coaches?

I tend to believe it was picking at the top of the 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th and 6th and 7th rounds for years on end.

Those rosters are among the most talented in all of football. That's not because of John or Pete.

Pete you may recall was a head coach for a season...went 6-10 and was fired. But now he is some kind of coaching guru?

I love how people build out these silly narratives...why? Well obviously to take a veiled shot at JG.

Well played.

That RG3 trade is looking more like Ditka trading the farm for Ricky Williams when he was in NO.

So, in the end, the Commanders will have given up the following selections to select RG3 (#2 overall, 2012).

#6 overall (2012)
#39 overall (2012)
#22 overall (2013)
#2 overall (2014)

The Rams didn't keep all those selections, opting to trade down further many times. With their trade downs, they selected the following players:

2012
Michael Brockers
Janoris Jenkins
Isaiah Pead
Rokevious Watkins

2013
Alec Ogletree
Stedman Bailey

Considering they also may end up trading the #2 selection in 2014's draft, the Rams ended up with a really, really huge haul of players.

It wouldnt be sooo bad if rg3 was actually playing and playing well. The fact that he looked terrible AND is benched is making this look catoshtrophic for the skins.

I love reading fans talking about teams drafting early in rounds and how that was a big advantage. In the first round, sure. Last I checked a late 1st is higher than an early 2nd, a late 2nd is higher than an early 3rd, and so on.

Teams don't get stacked because of where they've been slotted in the draft order. They've just done a good scouting.

So glad RG3 is a bust. I know it's early but he sure ain't worth what they traded for

Commanders finished with less wins than the # of high draft picks they gave up for RG3. Kudos. You're a model for every franchise to follow.

I'm going to guess that the Commanders still have the better end of this trade.
